Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for everyone. Mountain Adventures nearby. Features raw edge granite counters, office, hot tub, gas fire pit, wood fire pit, pellet stove in the basement. Awesome mountain views.
It features two king beds, two queens, a futon and a set of bunkbeds. The front deck views are great, on a clear day you can see Pikes Peak. The wildlife comes to visit often.
3000 Sq ft to spread out. We all love vacations together this home allows you to be together but have room to not feel like you are on top of each other. Pets are allowed, please make sure to pay the pet fee. No cats, as I'm highly allergic.

The host uses a surveillance camera to monitor the hot tub, which is not accurately disclosed as required by airbnb rules. We left the hot tub cover off while we were at the home one evening for 2-3 hours, and later realized the host came to the property unannounced to close the tub lid. When I went out to close the tub before bed it was such a creepy feeling. She later accused us of leaving it open for “hours on end.” We turned the camera away from the tub. When I asked a question later the host said “we can’t help you anymore” because we faced the camera away from the tub area. The tub itself is fairly old and chemical-y. The host expects you not to touch any hot tub controls such as temp or jet settings. The house is filled with a dazzling array of personal items and tchotchkes. There are Knick knacks and clutter everywhere. It was challenging with a toddler. The pros of this place are that it’s fairly economical and has an updated kitchen with lovely Mountain Views and patios.

Response:The camera faces the grills and fire pits. Not the hot tub. Because the camera does show the patio area where the back door is after the neighbors told us it was open for hours we looked at the footage. We asked you to close it. You never responded. We then told you we were going to come close it. You never responded. The hot tub is 3 years old. We only state not to turn the flow knobs on the hot tub because it will not filter right. You ignored that. This is why it seemed chemically to you. The house interior looks no different than the pictures on the listing. It is our family home and we have family that stays there when they visit. The home is deep cleaned monthly and cleaned between each guest. These guests appear to be trying to get a free four night stay at our home. They also did not disclose their guests. They stated 2 adults and 2 children. They had more guests come and stay every night. When we went to clean the home all 8 beds had been slept in during there stay. That is definitely more than the 4 they disclosed.

Overall it was a very good place to stay. Great location & good views.

Response:Sorry you felt the home was dusty and too personal. We did just replace all the windows, doors, and floors. Mountains tend to be dusty when windows are left open it will blow in dust. As for being to personal. Some guests enjoy it. It is our family home where extended family stays when the visit.

It was a fine place. Definitely still feels like they are new to airb&b. The directions to unlock the house said go to the French doors, which was confusing as it is a sliding glass door. However we did figure it out. We did not love that we were watched while we were in the hot tub. It did feel a bit like an invasion of privacy. We saw the camera coming on and off for long amounts of time. It felt like they were eavesdropping on our conversations instead of merely checking safety and security, which is what the cameras are meant for. We then received a very rude text message almost immediately after getting out of the hot tub that we would be charged if we didn’t put the cover on correctly. Everything else in the house was fine. Not wonderful not bad.

Response:As we told you the cameras are not watched constantly. They are motion cameras. We periodically look to see if all is fine. When we looked after they had been out of the hot tub the cover was not on correctly. We then went back and saw that they had forced it shut resulting in damage. They were asked nicely to please read the house manual and cover it properly and that if there was damage they would be responsible for it. She then thought it was a good idea to send us numerous messages about being professional women. We just replaced the doors she is talking about the day before she arrived. We have been guests and hosts for years. Upset she didn’t get away with damaging property.

Response:We are sorry you felt the home was dirty or dusty. The home needed new flooring. The carpet was old and we felt that was giving the appearance of dusty and dirty. We have since replaced all of the carpet that was stained from past guests with all new luxury vinyl planking. Would love to host you again so you can see the improvements. Location was good for us. Easy drive to Denver, Red Rocks, and hiking. The home easily accommodated our family of 6. All essentials were well stocked. It was too cold out for us to enjoy the fire pit but we thought about it. Saw many deer. Kids enjoyed the hot tub.
