House Rules

To rent Makaha Villa, our home, we require you to sign/accept a rental agreement and provide ID of the credit card holder. This is for your protection as much as ours. The agreement spells out all the details of renting, from checking-in to checking out.

Payment Policy

We collect 20% of the initial payment plus the deposit at time of reservation with full payment due 45-days prior to the check in date.

Refundable Damage Deposit

We refund the deposit 3-days after check-out

Cancellation Policy

If Guest wishes to cancel reservation, deposit and payments will be refunded as follows:
30 Days prior to Check-In Date: 100% refund of all deposits or payments.
Less than 30 days to check-in: No refund of any deposits or payments
Unused Nights: No refunds for unused nights, regardless of the reason.
Unit-Specific Bookings: Once paid, reservations cannot be changed by the guest.
Hurricane, Flood, Earthquake, Tsunami, Other Weather Related Cancellation: The above cancellation rules will apply unless mandatory evacuation is issued. Refund will be prorated or stay rescheduled to a future open date in the same seasonal period, if available. We encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance through a private company. It is Guests' responsibility to obtain and know their own coverage options.
