Watch the sunrise over grandfather mountain from your king sized bed. Spend the day exploring the mountains. Then unwind in front of the fire with a Netflix movie or listening to music!

Our rustic cabin has a priceless view, no fees, and is close to everything! Kitchen has a large eat up bar- opening into the living area. Wonderful for spending time together with loved ones. Also a living area downstairs with shuffleboard and pull out couch.

This location is perfect!
Guests have access to the whole home, will enter with keyless entry.

It is a nice place for those looking for a peaceful getaway and break from everyday life. Kitchen is very well equipped and we had plenty of space for socializing with the family. The roads and driveway are steep but once you learn the road it is easy to navigate. The communication with Laura and Kyle, was outstanding which made it welcoming and helpful. Btw! Thank you Laura and Kyle for the bottle of wine 🍷 and the early check in. We were very pleased to have found this listing. Our family and I had a wonderful time.

This was exactly what my family of 5 needed, and there was plenty of space for more! The place is stocked with all the extra blankets you could ever need. It was perfect for a cozy and relaxing mountain trip. The kitchen has everything you might need for cooking (equipment-wise). The WiFi was great, though be warned that cell service was spotty. The hosts were so proactive and helpful! We will stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for the kiddos. The snow made it beautiful. We loved seeing all the animals. We saw deer from the living room everyday. We also saw a fox and a coyote while driving in the neighborhood. There really is a lot to do nearby.

We had such a great experience here and Laura’s communication was wonderful! We were a little nervous about the roads (the warning about how steep the roads leading to the home and the driveway is no joke) but we were thankful that Laura had the knowledge about what we should expect and we were fine. Location was perfect for us as we were there to go snow tubing at Hawknest (super close and can even see the snow lanes from your balcony!). We were thankful for all the entertainment that was provided for our kids (tons of games and a karaoke machine was a HUGE hit for our kids)! Perfect place to stay! No complaints, except that we didn’t have phone service while there, but that wasn’t the hosts fault…just the mountains.

We really enjoyed our time in Seven Devils. The cabin was peaceful and had an amazing view. There was lots of space for everyone to stay and we enjoyed sitting around the fire place and playing games. It did have a very steep road up to the house, but was very doable if you take it carefully. Laura and Kyle were very responsive to questions and concerns. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Dear potential guest, We are not a 5 star hotel. But if you're looking for wood paneling and 80s style carpet, look no further. Boasting popcorn ceilings and mysterious electric work, our home is an adventure in itself to visit. This house is the love child of the "Brady Bunch" and "Money Pit". Do we work our tails off trying to maintain it after a plethora of renters each year? YES. We have literally carried thousands of pounds of building materials, appliances, and furniture up those God forsaken front steps. For some reason this house hates garbage disposals. Replaced that three times in the last year. It is like the house begs for people to shove spoons down in there. But do we love staying here...100% YES. Our kids LOVE the rustic feel and enjoy 'going back in time'. It is like a cozy hug from grandma. Filled with our blood, sweat, and tears of trying to renovate and maintain it...but yet just what you need to escape your busy and hectic life for a few days in the beautiful mountains. We invite those to stay with us who appreciate having a rock bottom price, and enjoy staying in a great location, but don 't need a sparkly brand new cabin. This is a rustic cabin in the woods, and feels that way! There is plenty of room for two families, also. Our cleaner is wonderful and works hard to keep things in great shape for your visit. We do not, however, provide full amounts of toilet paper or paper towels. Note: mountain homes are on mountain roads, and they are narrow, winding, and give you a good shot of adrenaline as you drive up them. Our driveway has a steep slope on one side, but can be accessed from the other side (think rainbow shape) and fits 3 cars comfortably. Double Note: yes - we have a full size crib in the closet behind the master bathroom. We don't hate our children, but they need a buffer from the noise we all make in the living room. Feel free to place your children, or husbands, here when they misbehave. Please bring your own crib sheet if you would like to use the crib. Triple Note: The trash company full out quit doing pick up in this area. There is a free public dump just at the bottom of the mountain near Grandfather winery, but guests do have to remove their own trash.
