Perched above the lake, LakeHus Edge offers breathtaking views and a tranquil atmosphere. The hillside location may limit direct lake access for those with mobility concerns but rewards with unparalleled vistas. Just 10 minutes from four renowned Kelowna wineries and steps from hiking and biking trails, our retreat is ideally located for exploring the region or simply unwinding in nature.
Amenities to Enhance Your Stay
Year-Round Wellness:
Unwind in the Lakeview sauna, take a dip in the cold plunge (or lake), and relax by the wood firepit.
Please note: The wellness area (sauna, cold plunge, and wood firepit) is shared with the property and is located on the pathway to the lake, closer to our section of the home. Guests can book private time slots to use this space.
Private Hot Tub:
Tucked under your deck, the hot tub is reserved exclusively for your use, offering ultimate privacy as you soak under the stars.
Seasonal Activities (May–September):
Private Pool: Enjoy our outdoor pool, located in your yard and reserved exclusively for your group.
Shared Dock and Waterfront Equipment: Paddleboards, kayaks, and the private dock are shared with the property and available for fishing or relaxing. Universal-sized life jackets are provided, and a liability waiver is required for waterfront equipment use.
Winter Adventures:
Explore nearby trails on foot or with snowshoes, or enjoy sledding and bird-watching.
Indoor Fun:
Challenge your group to a game of ping pong on your private table, located within your unit.
Simple Breakfast:
To comply with our bed and breakfast license, we provide a self-serve breakfast: a loaf of Portofino sourdough bread and a jar of local jam in your fridge. It’s a simple offering to fuel your morning adventures.
Accommodations
Primary Bedroom: King bed with ensuite bathroom (Sleeps 2).
Bedroom 2: Queen bed (Sleeps 2).
Bedroom 3: Queen bed (Sleeps 2).
Bedroom 4: Queen bed and twin bed (Sleeps 2).
Wake up to sweeping lake views and the sounds of nature, including sightings of our resident bald eagle.
Parking:
Four dedicated parking spaces are available for guests. Street parking is not permitted.
A Note About Noise and Shared Spaces
We live in a separate but adjacent section of the house. While the layout is designed for privacy, some noise transfer (like footsteps or sounds from our family, including our two boys) may be heard. We do our best to keep noise to a minimum, but if you’re seeking absolute silence, this may not be the ideal fit for your stay.
Important Information
Quiet Hours: Observed from 11 pm to 7 am. Excessive noise is prohibited at all times.
Pool Availability: Open seasonally from May to September (this can potentially be extended pending weather conditions)
Wood Fires: Permitted only when no fire ban is in effect.
Boat Moorage: Limited availability—please inquire for details.

As part of the requirements for our bed and breakfast license, we live in the same house as our guests. However, the house is designed with ample spaces, doors, and soundproofing to ensure you feel like you’re in your own private retreat. Your privacy and comfort are our utmost concern, and we will not enter any of the areas shown in the listing photos. We respect your space and will only interact with you if assistance is needed.
