Augusto was my grandfather, and I am proud to share with you his house, that I use when I am in Lisbon. Thoroughly renovated in 2023 to mint condition, with all the modern amenities for a family of six or young professionals. Casa Augusto is nestled in the heart of Lisbon and conveniently connected by metro, train, and bus, with the airport is just 5 minutes away, and easily accessible city exits. Park your car, grab a bike and enjoy the city, or stay home to enjoy the garden. Welcome to book!
Casa Augusto is an understated family-friendly home located in the heart of Lisbon. Originally built in 1950, it was recently renovated to offer all the modern comforts and conveniences you need for a memorable stay. Actually, it is our home whenever we are in town and that is why you will recognise a personal touch.
Downstairs, youll find a spacious living room that opens up to a private garden, perfect for relaxing or entertaining. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for cooking up delicious meals to enjoy with friends and family. It goes without saying that the house boasts high-speed Wifi, cable TV, two independent sound systems (Sonos and Android), allowing you to stream your personal services, like Spotify, Netflix, Amazon Prime.
Upstairs, three cozy bedrooms offer a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city. One bedroom features an en-suite bathroom, while the other two share a separate bathroom.
Outside, you have a 50sqm private garden patio in the backyard, where you can sunbathe or use the barbecue grill. And in the front-yard you can park your car and use the EV charger if necessary. There are also poles to park and lock bicycle, should you decide to rent some.

Centrally located, close to everywhere
Getting around
Maybe you brought your car. You can park it inside, as you won't need it so much. I would dissuade you to drive into downtown, but it is not impossible. Just expensive to park.
You can always decide how to move around. Two metro lines lie 800 mts from the house and train station is less than 500 mts and the bus line a mere 100 mts. Uber/Bolt are very affordable, too.
You can also consider renting a bike, as you have a safe place inside the garden where to park. Check our guidebook or contact us for further information.

THE OBVIOUS
Take care of the house exactly in the same way you would expect others to take care of yours and leave everything where you have found it.
Avoid shoes in the bedrooms
No smoking inside (including vaping) and absolutely NO cigarette buts in the garden (dispose of them in the outside containers)
No food or drinks on the sofa
Sort the garbage into the correct containers (see flyer on the door) and place the containers outside throughout the stay
No unregistered guests or parties
CHECKING OUT
Please return the furniture and decoration items to the place you found them. (the cleaning fee does not cover furniture rearrangement)
Sort and dispose of your waste in the right container and containers are not completely full.
Close all the windows, shutters, doors and gates.
LOCAL LAWS
Like in any hotel, under EU laws we have to ask you for your personal ID data and inform local authorities.
CAR PARKING
Please always park your car inside the house. Street parking is strictly for residents with a permit and on a regular basis the city services fine and tow the cars that do not have a resident permit.
POST/USE of ADDRESS
As a short-term rental please refrain to use the address for any post, correspondence or official matters. Organize the reception of items strictly through courier during your stay.
LONG STAYS
For longer stays (30 days and above): Be mindful of electricity consumption. Consumption above 350kwa per month will be charged in addition to the monthly fee.
PET Policy
ONE DOG (ONLY) will be considered subject to acceptance of the rules (only stays on the ground floor, does NOT go to the bedrooms, and does not stay on the sofa) and the payment of the pet fee
GARDEN MAINTENANCE
We strive to keep the house in the best possible shape to welcome our guests. The garden requires regular upkeeping for which I have contracted professional services. The frequency of their visit varies with the season, while we endeavour to schedule the visits during guest turnover, that is not always possible.
