This was our first time in the Blue Ridge/Cherry Lodge area and Mike’s cabin made us feel right at home. Mike truly put a lot of thought into ensuring that his guests had what they need. The home was spotless, with a wide variety of kitchen supplies. The bed was very comfortable, along with the couches. My family and I plan to visit Blue Ridge at least once a year; we will definitely reserve Mike’s cabin again. Thanks Mike!

We stayed in the cabin and made it up the road in a Honda Accord, although the road was a bit wild. We really enjoyed the DVDs and board games provided, which made for some fun, cozy nights. The WiFi worked but was barely strong enough to watch videos on my phone. It is to be expected while being in the woods. I appreciated the fan in the bedroom, and the showers had excellent water pressure, though I believe they use well water. The kitchen had all the appliances I needed—especially a pizza cutter! The Google connection was a nice touch too. However, the area under the couches was dusty, and while the beds were very comfortable, the dryer didn’t work well when clothes a little over half way. Overall had a good stay.

Great house and close to lots to do. It rained while we were there so we never got to enjoy the party lights or outdoors seating, but everything was accessible. Foosball was great for the kids and extra games when the internet went out due to weather so we were never bored.

We came up for an impromptu family getaway (tired parents, 3yr old, newborn and dog). Mike's place was just what we needed; the amenities met our needs (pack and play, Roku TV, Keurig machine) and added extras (games, OK Google connection, local recommendations) were the icing on the cake! We enjoyed our morning walks to see the creek and our afternoons in Blue Ridge. Would highly recommend this place!

I loved that it felt like home. We just went for a spur of the moment trip and it was perfect. Clean, relaxing, comfortable, and everything you needed was there. Far enough away from things, but yet close enough to everything. We will definitely book again if we come back to that area. The little cup welcoming you was also a nice touch. Mike's place was the perfect getaway for us. Beds were comfortable with quality bedding and lots of pillows. Kitchen and bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. Great location with trails near by. The house was stocked with lots of games, movies and books yet the weather was so nice we didn't have time to enjoy them! Will definitely be back.

Getting around

To downtown Blue Ridge: Turn right on Stanley Creek and continue one mile to Aska Road. Take a left on Aska Road and follow it for 7.8 miles. Turn left on Mineral Springs Road for one mile. Turn right onto Church Street and follow it into downtown Blue Ridge. To downtown Ellijay: Turn left on Stanley Creek and follow it for 8 miles (second half is a gravel road). Head south/left on Route 76/5 toward Ellijay. After 5.8 miles exit right onto Old Highway 5, which you'll follow for 2.5 miles into downtown Ellijay. To avoid the gravel road, follow the directions above to Blue Ridge, but continue on Mineral Springs. Turn left on E 1st Street and continue to Highway 515. Head south (left) on 515 and follow the sights to Ellijay.

50% payment is due upon reservation confirmation. We also accept Venmo upon request. The balance is due, along with the deposit amount, 7 days prior to check-in.
Refundable Damage Deposit
The security deposit is automatically refunded within 48 hours of checkout if no repairs or excess cleaning are needed.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations may be cancelled without penalty if made at least 7 days before the reservation date.
