Relax in our bright and artistic guest suite — all hand-built with unique touches throughout. Private entrance and terrace, comfortable king size bed, heating and air conditioning, smart TV, small refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, kettle and coffee. The private patio overlooks beautiful secluded woods and includes patio lights & seating for 2. Great for getaways, rest!

15 minutes from restaurants, cafes and the charming small towns of Carrboro, Pittsboro, and Saxapahaw. 20 mins to Chapel Hill.

This unique and small space is perfect for relaxing getaways, stopovers on road trips, and visiting the area for weddings and concerts.

BEDROOM
Stretch out in the spacious king bed, and watch TV from bed (we have a Roku Smart TV; no cable). An overhead fan helps keep the air circulating; and the mini split AC unit helps keep the place nice and cool in the summer time and toasty in the winter. Draw the curtains if youd like to sleep in :)

BATHROOM
This unique and hand-built shower features galvanized tin walls and overhead skylight! Great water pressure and plenty of hot water (weve got a tankless heater for on-demand hot water). Enjoy shampoo, conditioner, and body wash from Public Goods.

KITCHENETTE
The small kitchenette features mini fridge, toaster oven, microwave, and hot water kettle. We supplies cups, plates, bowls, and utensils -- as well as organic coffee and coffee creamer as well as a selection of teas for your enjoyment. We just added a small bistro set, too, making it easier for you to enjoy a meal or sit down to do some writing or work on your computer.

NO LIVING ROOM, NO FULL KITCHEN
Please note that this is a small space and that there is no living room, no full kitchen, and no large dining space. This space is best suited to short stays for guests who are comfortable with small spaces.

STEPS & OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Not for people who have trouble with steps. There are two steps up/down from bedroom. Chairs on private, secluded, covered deck for enjoying morning coffee, breakfast, snacks.

NOTE: It has a very outdoorsy feel. Youre likely to see squirrels, birds, maybe even a fox or raccoon. Summertimes are usually full of bugs — and they might find themselves inside your home. Cobwebs can appear literally overnight. For those weary of the great outdoors or natures creatures, this place is not for you. We do not fumigate and choose to use natural pest management strategies whenever possible. The home is chemical and fragrance-free for easier breathing and better sleep.

10 mins to The Barn and 15 minutes to the Carriage House for weddings. 15 mins to the Ballroom at Saxapahaw, 20 mins to Cats Cradle for music venues. 20 minutes to UNC Chapel Hill and UNC Chapel Hill hospitals. 40 minutes to RDU Airport.

PETS
If you want to bring a pet please let us know so we can send you our pet policy and you can bring your pet(s) in a way that will be happy for all! Thanks!

You will have complete and sole use of the private guest suite and deck. The driveway may be shared with other guests.

We are available for questions or to help solve problems by text. We will probably be out of town but have a wonderful manager who can help if something goes awry. Usually we can respond w/in a couple of hours but not generally before 10 am. or after 9 pm.

This little cabin in the woods was perfect for our stay to see friends who live a few miles away for a celebration weekend. Well appointed with everything you need similar to a hotel room but out in the beautiful woods, private and cozy! It is connected to a larger house where other friends stayed with a connecting door - perfect for groups too, but then also we had our own space at the same time. Will stay again when we come visit next from CA!

Response:Thanks a ton for the awesome review, Jenna! So glad our woods-bound cabin was just the ticket for your celebration weekend. It's all about that perfect mix of cozy vibes and private chill-out space. Thrilled to hear we nailed it for you. Can't wait to host you again when you swing by from CA!

A sweet, small space — just enough for two. Filled with charming art and natural light, perfect for a weekend escape. Pack ready-made foods, teas, coffee and some good books. The sound of the rain on the roof will lull you back to sleep or straight towards nap time. The private porch is a lovely spot for quiet meditation, happy hour or a take out dinner!

Response:Wow, Heidi! Your review paints a picture of pure serenity and charm! Next time you're seeking more moments of bliss and relaxation, our doors are wide open. Can't wait to have you back for more rain-soothing, book-reading, and porch-meditating adventures!

Very small guest house but was just enough space for 2. The king size bed is great. Not very comfortable to eat breakfast in the morning, there is a porch outside the front door that adds more space when the weather is nice. Did not have any pest issues at all. Very quiet, quaint place tucked back in the woods.

Response:Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Tyler! We totally get the breakfast situation, and we're glad you made use of the porch when the weather smiled upon you. As for the lack of pest issues, that's music to our ears! We're all about a peaceful, pest-free stay. Whenever you're ready for more cozy, quiet, and quaint moments tucked away in the woods, we're here to welcome you back.

We enjoyed our stay! It is slightly smaller than we expected, but has a lot of character. The hosts were flexible and accommodating. Loved seeing deer out the window and being surrounded by woods.

Perfect spot for a getaway to/exploration of Pittsboro and Chapel Hill. Definitely "in the woods" vibe and unique, custom architecture/design. Akin to a tiny home (a little small) but great for a couple. Do note this is a shared building/ built on suite.
