Things to know before you go:
No big grocery store or gas stations or atm’s in Rockaway proper. You probably won’t need cash, but you may want to fill up on groceries and gas in Tillamook (from south) or a larger city (North) before you get here.. we usually stop at Fred Meyer in Tillamook, it’s on the very north end of town when you’re headed to Rockaway. If you’re not in a hurry and like cheese & ice cream, you can stop at the Tillamook Cheese Factory it’s after Fred Meyer north of Tillamook on 101, it’s a free museum and cheese samples and you can buy ice cream.

Getting in:
The “front” door (really on the right side of the house when you pull up) has a “smart” Yale lock. Your code should have been shared with you by Airbnb by now, push the YALE button to activate the number pad, press your code in and the ??. When you leave push the YALE button to lock (sometimes the door needs to be pulled shut and button pushed, listen to ensure it’s locked). Message me if code doesn’t work, or if you have not received it by the time you check in. We can remotely unlock the door and there is a lock-box backup.

Heat & WiFi:
May as well get connected & comfy! The network and password is in a magnet on the fridge and also in the info book! The QR doesn’t work right now.
When you arrive you will likely want to turn the heat up, the heat is “zonal”, each room has a thermometer. The main room is on the wall next to the dining room table. The bathroom, and the bedrooms are all digital and on the units themselves, you will want to turn them up a bit to make the rooms comfortable unless you prefer colder rooms!
You are welcome to use the propane fireplace, the remote is on the bookshelf, just press the ON button and it should kick on, it’s set to 65, if you want to turn it up higher go for it, but turn it back down before you turn off the unit. Please turn OFF the fireplace (button on remote) when you go to sleep or leave the house, this is for safety reasons and also not to waste propane.

Other instructions and emergency info;
is located in the book on the small sofa table by the front window, enjoy smart TVs with Hulu & Disney, please don’t sign out of any subscriptions that are on, it’s hard to get them back on for other users. If you do sign onto your own accounts, remember to sign out. Please remove your shoes at the door if possible-sand and dirt gets everywhere!
