2 Bedroom, 3 Bathrooms, 4 Guest Cabin in the City Limits of Helen.

Alemaigne Haus Cabin is a family built home and is located within the city limits of Helen on 1 and 1/2 acres only a couple of blocks from the Helen Water Park, and the Valhalla Resort. The new Helen to Hardman Hiking Trail is just around the corner. The cabin is a three-minute drive to downtown Helen.

You'll love sitting on one of the two covered porches while listening to the sounds of a small creek in the back yard. You might see wild turkeys walking through the yard, and on occasion several deer.

The Alemaigne Haus features two large bedrooms upstairs with a king size bed in the master and a queen size bed in the second bedroom, 26" LCD flat screen TV's, and a private full bath in each. The living room has a 55" LCD flat screen TV for your enjoyment and also free WI-FI service is provided. Enjoy a romantic electric log fireplace, a new reclining sofa, and beautiful bamboo hardwood floors. You'll also enjoy the sunroom with large picturesque windows with a beautiful view of the forest out back. The sunroom and all bathrooms have ceramic tile floors. There's also a sitting room with a 32" flat screen LED TV with a PlayStation 2 for the kids to enjoy.

Have your morning cup of coffee at the breakfast island in the beautiful fully equipped kitchen. There's also a large full bath with a double vanity and a separate laundry room on the main level. We provide laundry detergent and fabric softner sheets.

If you want the feeling of seclusion, but want to be close to all of Helen's activities, then this is the place for you.

An outside camera is in place on the front and side porches facing the driveway for your protection and ours.

The cabin is a mile from downtown Helen, and has paved road access. Some of our guests like walking to town, which takes approximately 15 or 20 minutes, or if you prefer to drive, it takes only three minutes and there's an all-day parking lot in town.

Stay at our cabin and you'll be glad you did. We hope that you will come again and again!

We also provide maps, a travel guide, flyers of local attractions, and local restaurant menus for your convenience. We are never too far away if needed. Unlike property management companies, we take pride in our cabin, provide personal touches, and we want our guests to enjoy it as much as we do.

Beautiful Christmas Stay
We enjoyed our 5-day stay at the Alemainge Haus Cabin even more than we thought we would. It had everything we needed, was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and close proximity to downtown Helen and yet in a peaceful settung with a lovely view of the wooded outdoors. My husband wants to stay there again, next Christmas!

Great Vacation Home!! Quiet neighborhood very close to all shops, restaurants, & activities in town.
I have stayed in so many vacation homes in Florida, Tennesee, and Georgia that I have lost count. I have never stayed in a cleaner or more organized home. This home is very comfortable and close to everything in town. The owners are so easy to work with and provide extra little touches that most people don’t think about. Can’t wait to come back next year!!

Perfect for our stay
This house/cabin was absolutely perfect for our stay. There was plenty of room for all 5 of us. The beds were SO comfortable, as was all of the other furniture. It truly felt like home. The driveway was a little sketchy because of the angle, but we were in a big truck. I'm not sure how well it would work with more than 1 vehicle. The only true complaint was that there was only 1 dishwasher tab and 1 garbage bag. We bought some while we were there because we stayed for 5 days. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin!

Our driveway accommodates at least three vehicles. Your truck would have fit nicely in the carport. We have a F350 Duly Truck that has no problem fitting. The driveway has a slope however two cars can fit side-by-side if they pull straight in and not sideways. We were unaware that there was only one garbage bag and one dishwasher pod. We wish you would have asked for more during your stay because we would have been happy to get more out of our supply closet for you. We will mention this to our cleaning crew for not having more available. We hope you did find the extra paper towels, toilet tissue, kleenex, soaps, shampoos, hand soaps, coffee, creamer, sugar, and spices that we provided. Thank you for your comments.

My husband and I both grew up in Georgia. For many years, we have visited Helen for relaxation and fun. In 2004, we decided to purchase property within the city limits to build our vacation home. In 2006 we, along with family members, built the Alemaigne Haus Cabin and later decided to share our home with others to enjoy as well. Twelve years ago, we decided to move to the area so that we could be near our rentals and assist our guests as needed.

We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 yrs of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
Pets of any description are not allowed due to a family member's severe allergies to pet dander. This rule includes ESA's.

Refundable Damage Deposit
A reservation/damage deposit of $200 is required. This must be received within 24 hours of today’s date to confirm the booking of the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure

A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty, and will receive 100% refund of all payments. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made less than 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full rent payment and the reservation deposit. Late arrivals, early departures, or no shows do not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. We highly recommend that you purchase traveler’s insurance.
