We live and work in the hustle and bustle of the D.C. metro area and had always enjoyed visiting the Outer Banks with its eclectic mix of activities ranging from familiar to unique, usually staying in hotels due to time and budget constraints. When the opportunity arose for us to purchase a classic beachbox in need of some TLC, we jumped at the opportunity to own a "bit of the beach" and to share it with others so that they can experience a piece of the magic that is the heart of the Outer Banks.

The Outer Banks doesn't have the public transportation options you would find in the city, but we do have taxis, Lyft and Uber available.

Biking (bring yours or rent by the day/week from great local businesses) is also a great way to get around the island for everything from shopping trips to beach or pier visits and you can bring your own bikes or rent through one of our lovely local shops!

House Rules
Rental requires written rental agreement be signed and returned, a copy of state/government issued ID provided and $350 refundable security deposit.

We welcome adult dogs on a case by case basis with proof of vaccinations, signed pet agreement, and payment of a pet fee of $75 (plus applicable tax). Please inquire if you wish to bring a pet.

We are strictly a non smoking property. Smoking or vaping of any substance in or on the property will incur a $250 smoke remediation charge.

Minimum age to rent is 24 for the responsible party. No groups or split payments are accepted for this property.

The person making the booking must be at least 24 years of age and must be staying at the property for the duration at the booking.

We will ask you to submit copy of government ID directly to us for age verification once booking has been confirmed.

To review a copy of the agreement, please send an Inquiry prior to sending a booking request and a copy will be sent to you immediately for your review.

Please Note: Guests do not have access to ground floor storage beneath the home. Additionally, maintenance or utilities workers may need to acccess this area during the stay for routine maintenance and repairs, and lawn mowing (in season) and pest control cannot always be scheduled for changeover periods. No smoking, No parties or events. Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM
