Sunny, airy townhouse nestled in the quiet, relaxing, coastal village of Winter Harbor within easy walking distance of ocean, restaurants, groceries, shops, galleries, kayak/bike rentals and seasonal passenger ferry to Bar Harbor. Guests especially love the mountain and sunset views from the back deck of this clean, comfortable home.

The entire 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath townhouse (a full half of the duplex house, with private entrance and dedicated parking in your own driveway), is your unshared vacation space.

Less than 1 mile from the entrance to the Schoodic section of Acadia National Park. Within walking distance to the harbor, restaurants, shops, galleries and the passenger ferry to Bar Harbor! Local Restaurants: Grocery store is within walking distance! Within the complex, theres a playscape for kids to enjoy, brick paths and a gazebo with picnic table. One minute from kayak and bike rentals.

No smoking or vaping. No pets. No guests, parties or events.

Maximum of 2 cars. (HOA prohibits trailers, RVs).

We, Kathleen and Bill, are retired educators who fell in love with the Schoodic and Acadia National Park area and bought this vacation home in 2004. We've enjoyed renting to nature-loving guests since 2005. >Leave used sheets and pillowcases on washing machine.
>For people driving in, if possible, it is most helpful if you bring your own towels
>Collect all trash in a tied garbage bag/s (supplied) and place in outside barrel.
>Two vehicle limit. Parking in driveway only.
>There is one, front exterior security camera. No interior spaces are visible to the camera.
>While we attempt to maintain all appliances and utilities, the unexpected failure of any appliance or utility will not result in any refund, but as soon as we're made aware of any problem, we will make every attempt to expedite remedies.

Payment Policy
We're still a "mom and pop" operation. We take payment by personal check as we have since 2005. There is one exterior security camera monitoring just the front entrance and driveway. No interior spaces are visible to the camera.
Refundable Damage Deposit
Payment is by personal check. NOTE: Refundable security/damage deposit of $250 is a separate check you send to us with your rental payment. The security deposit check is held and deposited only if there is a need. Otherwise, the check is destroyed within a week of notice by housekeeper that all is well.

Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 30 days before your arrival date and receive a full refund. For any cancellations within 30 days of your arrival date: If we can rent the abandoned nights to someone else, we will refund the amount we are able to recoup for those nights, minus a $75.00 fee. We strongly recommend that you buy trip cancellation insurance to protect your investment.
