Welcome to this unique Scandinavian decorated Geo-Dome rental in Arnold, California. It is perfect for couples, small groups or families and sleeps up to six guests. In the summer you can enjoy the access to Blue Lake Springs many amenities as tennis courts, pool, lake, playground & the restaurant for a fee.
All amenities are provided as soaps, firewood, hairdryer, laundry soap, shampoo, toilet roll, paper towels, linen and towels.
We do not accept any animals in our house due to allergy.

The space
The spacious master bedroom, located on the ground floor, comes with a king-size bed, and there is space for a portable baby crib for those traveling with children, the other bedroom feature a twin over full bunkbed.
In the open area downstairs is also a sleeping sofa provided with a extra mattress. Each of the two full bathrooms comes with a toilet, a sink, and a shower, and all linens and towels are provided

The kitchen is fully equipped with a blender, Keurig machine, microwave, coffeemaker, dishes, utensils, a dishwasher, a freezer, a refrigerator, stove, pantry items, slow cooker and a toaster.
For entertainment within this unique dome rental, guests will find an array of Scandinavian & English books, games for children & adults, toys, puzzles, a flat-screen television with a Blue-ray DVD, Nintendo and Netflix, HBO, HULU, Disney+ and a small selection of movies.

There is also a wood-burning stove that comes with firewood and a axe.

There is a large wraparound deck outside of this beautiful property which boasts spectacular views. On the deck, we provide a hammock, gas fireplace, dining table for 6-8 people to relax with a morning coffee or a book outdoor. There is also a five burner gas barbecue grill to cook delicious meals and outdoor dine.

Guests are not required to bring basic soaps, firewood, a hairdryer, laundry soap, shampoo, toilet roll, paper towels, linen, or towels as these are very kindly provided by the host. Local maps and restaurant guides are also provided to guests upon arrival.

Those traveling with children are advised to watch them when they go up and down the stairs or lean on the loft banister as a safety precaution.

“A quiet place in a busy world!”
This place was some much needed relaxation away from the bustle of regular life. Arnold has always held a special place in my heart, and this dome allowed me to see it once again! I wished I could have stayed longer! All of the amenities were very clear and concise, and the layout was simply beautiful. The pantry with easily grabbable food was a huge plus as well, and the assortment of games and puzzles added to the very cozy atmosphere, all while feeling modern and clean! A wonderful dome in a wonderful place! My wife and I hope to visit here again! Hopefully for a longer stay next time!

This is an excellent place for a weekend getaway (and even more). Lots of space, beautiful nature surrounding the dome, and a lovely house inside! 10 min drive to parks, a lake, groceries, and some trails right outside!

Maria’s Arnold’s dome was the perfect getaway we needed. Easy to find, with a wholesome feeling, just like the pictures. As we arrived I didn’t have any signal so I would suggest to get on emergency WiFi calling. Maria was very easy to contact and really friendly and helped me with a small problem we had when we arrived. The dome is really clean and it provides everything you need. We used the fire pit at night and you won’t believe how quiet and peaceful it is. My favorite part was the kitchen that contained all of the supplies and utensils to cook with. I really appreciate all the little details from the bored games and cook books. I highly recommend this Airbnb if your looking for a getaway. Can’t wait to come back. 😊

We are a family of 5 with kids ages 7, 5, and 1.5. This place was super comfortable. The towels and beds/blankets were super soft and cozy. My kids loved the gas fire pit on the deck. We borrowed the sleds to play in the snow and we all had a lovely time! We would definitely recommend this place to others.

Located in the town of Arnold, near Calaveras Big Trees, this rental had every convenience we could hope for. The dome feels isolated and private and we didn’t see anyone else around during our 3 night stay. Getting to the cabin was very simple as it was not too far off of highway 4. Upon entering the Geodome we were greeted with a capacious living room / kitchen area which boasts an elegant, vintage wood burning stove - as well as heated wall panels. We also enjoyed the third floor, which has an L shaped couch, and a flat screen television - featuring all of the major video streaming services, a Nintendo entertainment system and a Blu-ray player. Outside, there is a spacious 360 deck, which showcases magnificent views of the sprawling redwoods. There is a 6 burner propane gas grill, a propane based fire pit, and ample seating. We had a wonderful stay at the dome. Maria was a great host and was super attentive and quick to respond to any needs.

Such a unique home with everything you need for a trip to the mountains. It was exactly as pictured and a wonderful getaway for our family of four. Everything was clean and had everything you could need, including lots of games (even old school Nintendo games!) and a kids' play area. Maria was also super communicative and made the stay very easy. Would highly recommend.

Maria is a very responsive and friendly host and the house is interesting and clean. We enjoyed the open floor plan of the main floor and it was peaceful to be able to see the tops of trees through the upper windows. It was nice to have a play space for our son and a comfy place to watch movies in the evenings. The neighborhood is quiet with lots of trees. However, we might not recommend the cabin for anyone with a sensitive respiratory system or who has a sensitivity to smoke. Although we followed the instructions carefully for the wood stove to ensure we used it properly, the cabin smelled heavily of smoke when we used it. It definitely warms the cabin when it's full, but air quality became a concern. The electric heaters are not very strong so the cabin felt cold unless we used the wood stove. We also found the light fixtures dim, so on cloudy days it felt a bit dark and gloomy indoors, especially in the bedrooms in the basement.

The place is very pleasant to stay. The host thought through every detail for a comfort stay. The acoustics is really interesting here! And the fireplace is incredible, or better say, stove. With a iron kettle! We never used it, of course, but should have definitely tried. The kids area is really nice as well with a lot of toys! The house is very clean! One real minus is the bathroom door upstairs (the loft). It doesn't work well. Really hard to close and open it. But I believe the owner will fix it easily. I can totally recommend this place.

This listing was perfect for the entire family. The dome house is such a fun shape and super spacious. The kids loved the toys and games in the loft. The grandparents loved sitting by the fireplace. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. We even got to use the provided sleds!
