Enjoy this peaceful, idyllic setting in Parks, AZ to disconnect from the rat race, get back to nature, and recenter your soul. The property backs up to the Kaibab National Forest, and deer, elk, owls, and many more critters are frequent visitors. Nearby hiking trails make for a nice afternoon stroll.

After dinner, sit on our spacious deck and enjoy the sunset over the mountaintops. When the sun goes down, head out amongst the majestic ponderosas to check out every star in the sky.You'll have the run of the place while you're there with the exception of the garage.

Both bedrooms have queen size beds, the kitchen is set up with all the necessary appliances except a dishwasher and is fully stocked with all the delicious condiments you'll need including an impressive selection of hot sauces.

There is a fireplace in the living room that will help keep you toasty on those chilly nights, and we have a huge deck out front where you can relax and enjoy a few adult beverages. There is a small guest house on the property with electricity that can sleep a couple of extra guests. You would need to supply an air mattress or cot and there is no heat out there, but it is quite cozy in the summer time. And we finally have high speed internet with unlimited data through Starlink!

My wife and I bought this place back in 2011. We all know how fast-paced and hectic life can get, and we were looking for a spot that could take us away from all that. We hit the jackpot! This place is super peaceful, serene, and the stress just melts right off of you as soon as you step out of your car and breathe in the sweet scent of ponderosa pines. All of us need a little bit of that special sauce to keep things on an even keel.

We are a stones throw away from some of the most beautiful places in the country - 60 minutes from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, 60 minutes from Sedona, 45 minutes from Arizona's best skiing in the winter months (Arizona Snowbowl), and a short 3.5 hours from Las Vegas. We would be selfish not to share this experience with people, so what are you waiting for?!?

“The Perfect Escape”
Andy's cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Loved the location, and scenery. It snowed quite a few inches before we got there and it was so beautiful. The cabin was very clean and decorated so cute. Our kids loved playing games and warming up by the fire. Down the road from the cabin we saw an entire heard of antelope, Mule deer, and 2 coyotes while driving to the canyon. We'll be back, Maybe when it's warmer!

Great place to get away! It is so beautiful and quiet at the cabin. Very nice and cozy inside. We stayed the weekend while my Husband was running a trail race and it was the perfect place to unwind when done. We had a small snafu with the hot water not working but there was great communication with Andy and he had it fixed fast so when we got back from the trails it was good to go. Check in was easy, communication great and we would stay again the next time we head up north. Thanks for making it easy!

House Rules
- No fires allowed in fire pits on property
- We have our water hauled in, so we appreciate every effort to conserve
- Pets are not allowed
- Smoking is prohibited in the house and on the deck
- Hunting and/or shooting of firearms on the property is strictly prohibited
- No parties or events
- Unfortunately we've recently had a few bad seeds lie to us about the number of people on their reservation and exceed our limit of 6. We know the large majority of our guests follow our rules and don't take advantage of us, but we have no choice but to play hard ball with the bad seeds. When we find out that our guests have exceeded our maximum guest limit they will be charged an additional $25 per extra person per night and hit with an additional $100 fine. That limit is in place for the safety of our guests and we take it very seriously.

Refundable Damage Deposit
Damage deposit will be used to cover any damage caused to the home or anything in the home during your stay. It will be refunded within 72 hours of check out when we confirm all is well after you leave.
Cancellation Policy
Full refunds will be issued if the reservation is cancelled at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival.
