A great deal for the location - 13m walk from Victoria station. The public amenities like the kitchen and restrooms are very clean! The same level of cleanliness can’t be said about the rooms, but they’re not filthy either (public amenities - crystal clean. rooms - clean). The room is definitely smaller than expected (two checked bags gives you very little room to work with. Can’t comfortably open one up well). As the building itself seems old, the walls are paper thin. Combined with slamming doors, super squeaky stairs and doors, light sleepers might have a rough time. But they do supply earplugs in the kitchen! If you’re looking for a good value, aren’t too picky on space, aren’t packing too much, and are heavy sleepers, this place will work just fine and save you a few bucks.

Rigtig fint og rent sted at bo, og i gåafstand til det meste i indre London (hvis man har de gode sko med). Det tog ca 45 min at gå ind til f.eks Oxford street, og det er en hyggelig vej derhen, bl.a. gennem en park. Lidt lydt værelse, især når naboerne kommer sent hjem og smækker med døre, men det er der jo ikke så meget stedet kan gøre ved. Men man er derved afhængig af at dem der bor i lejligheden samtidigt er hensynsfulde, da værelserne er lydte.

Abbiamo soggiornato nell’appartamento di Paul, la cui posizione era ottima e in più ci ha fornito tante indicazioni utili sulla zona e sui posti dove poter mangiare. L’appartamento era pulito, la camera non era grandissima, ma ci si può accontentare, molto calda per l’inverno. Paul ci ha fornito tutte le indicazioni relative alla casa ed è stato molto gentile e di veloce risposta. Siamo contenti del nostro soggiorno, ci ritorneremo volentieri.

We are in the royal neighbourhood! (15 min walk to Buckingham Palace, 20 minute walk to Big Ben)
City

Getting around

Citymapper is a great app for getting around, but Google Maps works fine.

Public transportation is excellent in London. Victoria (7 min walk away) is a major hub for transportation - the underground, trains, buses and coaches. There are also buses just outside the door that go to touristic areas. The 24 is an inside tip for a cheaper way to do some sightseeing over the tourist buses, and it stops just outside our place!

You can pay for everything with a tap of a contactless credit/debit card. There is no need to get an "all-day" ticket to save money as it gets calculated at the end of the day and you get charged for the cheapest ticket.

There are also public bicycle stations very nearby.

You may also take a public boat along the river, also nearby (around 10 pounds one way, also with contactless card)!
