Mt. Baker Rim Cabin #42 - The Hunters Moon Hideaway
“WOW” is the one word that best describes The Hunter’s Moon Hideaway! This custom built 2-story, 3-bedroom, 1 ¾-bath home was originally designed for full-time living, featuring all of the necessary accompaniments, and then some. Upon entering from the covered rear porch equipped with a gas grill and on into the mudroom, you’ll discover a full size stack washer and dryer along with plenty of room for outdoor gear storage…all while being embraced by heated floors. Proceeding on through the hallway, there is one bedroom with 1-queen sized bed and a good sized closet, a second bedroom with 1-queen sized bed and another full closet, a full bath with a soaker tub and shower combo, a fully equipped kitchen with beautiful custom counter tops, and a farmhouse style sink and upscale appliances, including a dishwasher. A breakfast bar comfortably seats up to four persons with accompanying bar stools. The living area features a freestanding gas fireplace, a comfy couch, and a flat screen monitor for streaming your favorite movies. Ascending the staircase to the second floor reveals a large loft bedroom with 1-king sized bed and a very nice ¾-bath ensuite. Just outside the front sliding doors there is a generous sized deck. But wait…there’s more! A landing leads to a private outdoor hot tub with a privacy panel! There’s also an EV charger to keep your car charged and ready-to-go, and an automatic whole house generator to keep everything running smoothly in the event of a power outage. Don’t forget Fido; this pet-friendly (2-pet maximum, NO exceptions) wifi* equipped, and monitored family vacation property will sleep up to 6-persons (ENFORCED Maximum Occupancy!).
The Mount Baker Recreation Area is a year-round playground! SUMMER Guests enjoy great hiking, mountain biking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, backpacking, freshwater fishing (lake and river), small game hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, canoeing, and nature viewing. WINTER Guests enjoy spectacular downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and sledding. Dont forget your camera...the photography is unsurpassed year-round!
**Wi-Fi service is available in our area and provided FREE OF CHARGE for Guest use. Having said this, intermittent service failures are circumstances that are beyond our control, and no sleeping accommodation refunds are provided if the FREE WIFI SERVICE fails to function correctly.

Refundable Damage Deposit
A Damage Deposit is not required; however, damages will be charged to the Guests credit card.
Cancellation Policy
If cancellation is received a minimum of 21-days or greater prior to our guest(s) scheduled date of arrival, Mt. Baker Lodging will gladly refund your Advance Reservation Payment less a cancellation fee of sixty-five dollars ($65.00) or 8% (which ever amount is greater); 20 thru 15 days forfeits the Advance Reservation Payment*; 14 days or less forfeits the entire rental amount*.
*Unless the vacation property can be re-rented, in which case only the cancellation fee of sixty-five dollar ($65.00) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply.
Winter Holiday Bookings and Cancellations – All bookings for the period of December 15 – January 2 require payment in full by December 1st. If cancelled on or prior to November 15th, the Advance Reservation Payment will be refunded minus the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater). From November 16th through November 30th, the Advance Reservation Payment will be forfeited unless the home(s) can be re-rented, in which case only the cancellation fee of $65.00 (sixty-five dollar) or 8% (which ever amount is greater) will apply.
