The only reason, I could think of was that the renter was upset because I was not able to accommodate her with an early checkin. It was a very busy week being school vacation and a holiday week.
As far as the house needing updates, the house is exactly as it is listed. If our house wasn’t a good fit, you shouldn’t have booked it. I didn’t advertise that my house was a 5 star hotel in Dubai. It’s a home in the mountain that caters to families.
Our house is inspected after every cleaning. Before your cleaning, I checked the house and it was CLEAN.
I really think renters should consider how a dishonest review hurts hosts.
Sometimes you just can’t please people, I try very hard with every rental.
