Response:After discussing with Shuhan regarding his stay and my review/expectations, the conclusion was that there was a miscommunication regarding what their stay consisted of, such as cleaning, etc. Because he stayed for two months, we did have our cleaning company come in and clean during his stay. So I would recommend Shuhan to other hosts.

I really loved staying here. The location, the parking, the proximity to the things I wanted to do were all perfect for me. Portland does have a homeless problem, but it's everywhere, not just in this area. Having an apartment on an upper floor in a controlled access building insured my sense of safety. Also, the homeless people I interacted with were always polite and never threatening. But it was initially a bit jarring just how prevalent this issue is. As someone who likes to cook, I found the kitchen a little sparse in what it offers in the way of prep tools. There was no can opener, for example, or chef/paring knives. I was able to improvise, however, plus I had some tools that I brought with me. I got great results with the oven, I have to say. From baked bread, roasted vegetables, brownies... they all came out perfectly with that oven, so I was very pleased with that. I had such a great time in Portland for the month that I was there. I like to try new places but I will consider staying here again. Definitely.

My husband and I, along with our two cats, stayed at Diana’s place for 3 months. Our initial plans were to only stay for 2 months, but we liked the place (and Portland) so much we decided to extend another month.
The unit is the perfect place for a long-term stay. It had everything we could have possibly needed to be comfortable during a long stay as two remote working adults. We barely had to buy any house products (soap, paper products, etc) because it was so well stocked. The kitchen also had everything needed from a cooking equipment standpoint.
Wifi was very fast, and using the dining room table and desk downstairs in the bedroom gave us each our own work spaces.
The unit is also very well decorated which made it feel a lot more like home and less like we were staying in an Airbnb.
If you have a car, Diana provides a free parking spot in the lot diagonal from the building, and you can see your vehicle from the unit for a little extra piece of mind.
Still, we hardly drove because we could walk anywhere in downtown Portland or take transit. Having a grocery store across the street was also super convenient.
We had one issue with the cable box downstairs, and Diana was so quick to reach out to Comcast to coordinate a fix.
The building itself is quiet. There is some noise from the street car, but nothing that bothered either of us.
There are two wall heat/AC units that worked pretty well, especially during a few of the 97 degree days Portland had towards the end of our stay.
Whether you’re heading to Portland for a weekend or looking for a long-term stay, I can’t recommend this place enough.

For long stays (or even shorter ones), this location and this apartment can’t be beat. We have lived in Portland for 30+ years and stayed here between selling our house and moving. It was perfect. We used public transportation for nearly every thing we did over 8 months, especially to and from the airport. The apartment is beautifully furnished and supplied with everything you will ever need for your stay. Enough kitchen goodies to stay in and cook, a location where you’ll never need to.
Will definitely try to stay here again when we are in town.

The location of Diana's place is perfect for a stay in Portland! Right downtown and close to restaurants, the campus, and a grocery store within a 15-second walk. Could not have asked for a better location! Diana was quick with responses if we had any questions. The unit comes with a parking spot that is very close and convenient. Overall we had a nice stay however there are a few things to be aware of. The kitchen only has 3 full-size plates meaning you will have to do dishes often if you plan to eat most meals in the place. Additionally, many of the systems (TV, fireplace/heat, and AC unit) are not user-friendly. There is a guide on how to use and Diana can answer any questions if needed. A final note is the noise level. The light rail noise was expected based on other reviews but you can also hear your neighbors. Even though there is a cleaning fee, make sure to clean before leaving. I noticed in other reviews she mentioned people not cleaning before they left, so we did. Have a great time in Portland!

This is a fantastic two-story condo that is perfect for 1 or 2 people needing long-term accommodations in Portland. The location is perfectly positioned for almost all locations in the downtown area - the Pearl District, South Waterfront, the riverfront, and even the east bank area are all easily walkable. The streetcar runs right outside, the Max is not far away (4-5 blocks), and there is a grocery store next door. The condo has almost everything you need - well stocked with linens, bathroom supplies (TP, paper towels, shampoo and conditioner, and more) and ample cooking gear.
Given that I stayed here in the middle of the pandemic, I spent a lot more time in the condo than I was expecting. As such, I was really grateful that I booked somewhere that spending time wasn't a big deal at all. I cannot recommend this place any higher for someone who wants to have a good place to call home for a bit. It is a bit more expensive than other options in the downtown area I looked at for my stay, but I think it was completely worth it. Diana was also really good about answering any questions quickly.
Just a couple of notes: it is downtown, and the usual downtown noises are present. Light sleepers may wish to consider ear plugs, but it didn't really bother me at all. The streetcar starts operating at 6 am to 10 pm, and can also be heard in the condo.

We stayed at Diana's place for two months. We were originally only booked for a month, but loved it so much we had to extend our stay. This is an incredible place. The pictures really don't do it justice, as it feels really stylish actually living in the place. The downstairs especially is incredibly spacious as compared to the photos. All of the amenities you need are taken care of for a comfortable stay, and Diana was a great host throughout. We'd highly recommend her place!
A small note: it didn't bother us much, but the condo being above the light-rail, it is audible in the mornings for those who want to sleep in but sleep lightly.

This place was very clean and very stylish. It is a two story studio with a large space downstairs for sleeping and upstairs for cooking, cleaning. Everything was here to make good meals. Everything was fully stocked. Unit was clean and tidy.
The host was great at responding and we had no issues.
We visited during the COVID time and the BLM protest time. This greatly altered the city, more so around this unit. This is a temporary thing. We found good places to go just short walks away, up on 21st and 23rd north of Bernside is a great little area. Also, the SE section has a lot of good places..
Only down side is that the unit is next a metro/tram stop and the train can be noisy at night.

We stayed at Diana's place for a month, we love everything about the apartment. The apartment is modern, clean and fully equipped. My boyfriend and I both worked from home, it was extra bonus that we each got a desk (dining table and office desk). We stayed here in July, the apartment faces west so the upper level got pretty hot in the afternoon. The apartment has ACs so it wasn't an issue. Diana was very responsive to any of our needs and requests. Would recommend to everyone!
