The community pool and hot tub are just 35 steps from back deck! Has covered shelter and restrooms for a long or short pool day. The community club house can be accessed with your key card. There you will find a pool table, foosball, ping pong, puzzles for a rainy day, equipment for the basketball, sport, tennis and pickleball courts. There is also a small fitness room.

Our family has been visiting HHI for over 30 years now! We have owned a second home in the Bluffton area for five years and now own a quarter share (13 week’s annually) at Carolina Club in Shipyard along with three other owners. We love the island and have rented throughout the years prior to purchasing at most areas but find Shipyard Plantation our absolute favorite! It’s quiet, private, has lots of wildlife, close to everything but feels like you have the area to yourself. We would love to share our cottage with you; along with our list of things we love to do when on the island!

Getting around

Shipyard plantation has two gated entrances making it easy getting to Coligny area, restaurants, shopping, celebration park and more so convenient using the Pope Ave gate. Use the 278 gate to get to Shelter Cove, Cross Island Parkway, Sea Pines areas and more! Two adult bikes are included for your stay! Enjoy the joy of seeing the island by bike! Our island has bike accessibility almost every area. Private path to the beach is a straight line from house to Shipyard Beach Club or drive to take advantage of the oceanfront parking at the club

Guests will be emailed check in procedure and location within two weeks of reservation. Check in location is SR hotel at 35 Deallyon Ave, Hilton Head, SC. Guest will receive two Shipyard passes for plantation entry and passes must be displayed for parking at house and for oceanfront parking at Shipyard Beach Club
