“Peaceful stay by Lake Rescue”
The house was very comfortable for our 2 families and dog.
Went hiking and canoeing . Enjoyed the hot tub and the general ambience.
Reached out to Lisa more than once and she was right there with a prompt, courteous response.
Thank you so much.

We had such a wonderful time in this beautiful chalet. Complete with absolutely everything you might need on a trip away. Lisa really provided such a comprehensive guide to the home and surrounding areas, we settled right in! With snow outside it felt lovely to put on the fire for cosy evenings in. Perfect location for a ski trip at Okemo (only 8 minutes away), the town of Ludlow was also convenient with its quaint stores. We would love to come back one day, maybe in the summer to enjoy time at the lake only a 2 minute walk away. Thank you so much for making our stay so perfect!

Lisa was a great host. Check-in was so simple and easy and Lisa was responsive with all communication. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The lake access was great and we really enjoyed sitting on the dock, using the kayak and canoes, and watching the wildlife. We also enjoyed just hanging out in the backyard with all the different activities to choose from including the firepit, games, volleyball net, hammock and hot tub. The separate kitchens and baths were helpful when it came to inviting guests. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would consider coming back next year. Thank you again, Lisa!

Awesome place especially for large groups! It’s a rarity to find a place that allows so many couples to have their own room. The fact that there was two living quarters, kitchens, and bathrooms gave our group plenty of space to move around.

Our group of 14 loved staying at this cozy cabin. The two kitchens were a huge bonus. They made storing food and cooking for the group much easier than other rentals. Additionally, we loved the cozy living space by the fire and the fact that the bedrooms are private rather than having multiple beds per room. Lisa sent very detailed check in instructions and everything was perfect. This is a great rental for a group looking to explore this charming area of Vermont.

A great place for large groups! The two levels and kitchens were great to have It is so close to Okemo, which was one of the best features. Place was well kept and provided lots space. The grill did not work, which was a bummer. We did not realize/was not aware that there would only be a minimal amount of paper towels/toilet paper, so we needed to go out and supply our own. Make sure you bring spme, especially if you have a large group!

This house is a great place to stay for large groups skiing at Okemo. Plenty of beds, large common areas, and room to park at least three cars. The hot tub on the deck is easily large enough for 5 people. It’s also private from most neighbors and a good distance away from the only one with a direct line of sight, so you don’t have to worry about being too quiet.

Summer Activities in Okemo Valley

Summer Activities in Okemo Valley

Summer is the best season to spend time in Vermont. Whether you want to be in perpetual motion or just relax and get away from it all, you can do it in Vermont in summer. Hike up a waterfall, cycle along scenic Route 100, run around the lake, relax with a cold drink on the back deck, cuddle in the hammock, play a game of horseshoes, paddle around the lake or take a moonlit soak in the hot tub.
