Low Country Celebration Park

If you've been coming to Hilton Head for awhile, you know that Coligny Plaza is considered THE area to be in for things to do. With a plethora of shops and restaurants, easy access to Coligny Public Beach, coffee shops, Piggly Wiggly Grocery store, basically everything you could need, you'd ask yourself, "What could possibly make this area BETTER?"

Low Country Celebration Park, that's what.

If you've ever been somewhere and thought, "this place is pretty cool, if only they'd though of..." Well, they thought of it, and more. Even a giant Pirate Ship Playground!

The park is situated on 10 acres of land adjacent to the Coligny Beach Public access. It features a large playground for kids of all sizes, plenty of places for the grownups to sit while the little ones stretch their legs, shaded areas, a water play area, shaded picnic benches, you name it, the park has it.

But it's not just a playground. Low Country Celebration Park is also the home of the Sand Box Children's Museum.

The park features an amphitheater for live entertainment, wide open space for lawn seating, restrooms in two different locations of the park, plenty of bike racks and just an overall beautifully landscaped area. There's even a little fitness track!
