Amazing rental with great fishing
The cabin was clean and well stocked. Situated on a smaller lake but near an access to a bigger lake. We loved how peaceful it was on the lake and the fishing was great for a late summer outing. I would recommend this to anyone with small children or a small group of friends looking to get away from the city. My 4 year old loved the loft and all the games provided.

This place exceeded our expectations! It was so beautiful - the home & the location! And it was practical - there was beach and bath towels and lots of kitchen utensils! Would easily book again! Perfect weekend getaway

Quiet and private week
This cabin is a quiet, private and clean place to stay for a week. It is unique in that it has a boardwalk-like dock to the lake that is full of wildlife and native foliage - it leads out to a small dock where we enjoyed kayaking and paddle boards. The lake is small so it was very quiet on the lake (very little motorized boat activity) and this was definitely what we were seeking. The hosts were helpful and quick to respond. They have done a wonderful job with this little cabin and it was perfect for our family of 4. The location is about 25 minutes from Crosby and we biked everyday in Cuyuna. We definitely want to come back to stay!

“Absolutely perfect”
Decided to surprise the wife with a birthday getaway and we couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate and rest from the usual daily grind. The cabin is on such a beautiful part of the lake and so private. The kids loved all the activities and places to explore. The cabin itself was so very charming. Everything (and I do mean everything!) was so organized and clean. Almost every need of ours was predicted And provided for. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Family weekend!
Beautiful lake home, great peaceful lake. My family thoroughly enjoyed ourselves taking advantage of the paddle boards, kayaks and yard games. Would definitely go back!

Kyle is a very kind and responsive host. The communication was punctual and informative throughout. He was always available to help answer questions. Smokey Hallow Lakehouse looked better in person than in the photos. It is very remote, peaceful, yet has lots to do. The house was very cleanly and beautiful and the yard was big enough for yard games of all types. There were more amenities than what was listed with a hammock, lounge chairs, and relaxing swings. The paddle boards and kayaks provided were fun to take out on the lake and the neighbors out there are friendly. The mosquitos weren't as bad as I was expecting being lakeside that far north, and Kyle informed me that they spray for mosquitos and ticks regularly which seems to be affective. There is plenty of sleeping space with 4 beds in the main house, 2 in the detached "bunkhouse" which sleeps adults just fine, and two couches. The kitchen had all the basics and is laid out intuitively. Overall a great stay, and I would go back

Fun Family Time at the Lake
This was a great place for our family of 8 to spend time together in the outdoors! It was a beautiful atmosphere and the house met our needs well. Our teen boys especially enjoyed fishing in the lake! The toy shed was a great addition! We were happy to have kayaks, paddle boards, cornhole, etc! The kitchen was very well stocked and organized. When we had questions, Kyle was quick to respond. We would definitely stay again, if we come back to the area! Thank you!
