The FREE Breeze Trolley Service starts Saturday, April 10 and is expected to operate every day through Labor Day for the 2021 season.
The new “Mid-Island Route” will use one trolley (as depicted on the attached map) and will serve portions of William Hilton Parkway, Folly Field Road, and Shelter Cove Lane.
The service will run 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 1 p.m. to midnight, Fridays and Saturdays, reaching each stop approximately every 30 minutes. More information can be found at www.breezetrolley.com.
The Mid-Island Route will start at the existing stop at Shelter Cove Towne Centre, head north on Shelter Cove Lane, turn left onto U.S. 278 (William Hilton Parkway), turn right onto Folly Field Road, turn around at the Westin Hotel, and then return southbound to the Towne Centre along the same route. Passengers from this new route will then be able to connect every half hour to the South Island Route that heads toward Coligny Beach Park, the new Lowcountry Celebration Park, and the many stops in-between.

• Using high-tech sprayers to frequently clean and disinfect.
• Having customized clear plexiglass panels beside the trolley drivers.
• Encouraging “one-way” boarding and exiting procedures with passengers
boarding in front and exiting through the rear door.
• Social distancing while riding.
• Having on-board hand sanitizer available for passengers and drivers.
• Requiring passengers to wear facial coverings in accordance with local and federal mandates.
