The island, measuring about 12 miles long by 5 miles wide, has nearly 60 miles of public pathways and nature trails accessible to all. You can also ride bikes on the beach! Bring your own bikes or rent at the many bicycle rental shops on the island.
Bike rentals: If you are staying with us at Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort, you will find this wonderful bicycle rental kiosk (pic below) just steps from our villa. A bike lock comes with each bike rental and helmets are available to rent. They have PLENTY of bikes, both adult and child-size, but if you would like to reserve your preferences, call (843) 785-4321 Island Cruisers.
$20 a day adult and/or kids bike
For multiple day rentals, $25 for 2-3 days and $35 for 4-7 days.
