We've been coming to Hilton Head since our kids were 2 and 8. In that time I've eaten alot of chicken fingers, burgers, and tacos. And, what's not to love about those? But there comes a time in every couple's life when they say, "I think it's time we ventured out without the kids...."
One of our favorite stops on the island is One Hot Mama's. Their BBQ is out of this world good. Why are they called One Hot Mama's, you ask? Two words, Mama Orchid...

Located in the heart of Sea Pines Resort, Harbour Town Shops is a beautiful, relaxing harborside shopping center with lots of little boutiques, gift shops, galleries, and restaurants.
Located adjacent to the beach boardwalk and oceanfront pool at Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort, Jamaica Joe'z Beach Bar serves a casual menu of burgers, sandwiches and light bar food, along with a full menu of tasty tropical beverages and other bar drinks.
Located in the building at the entrance to Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort are 2 restaurants: CocoNutz Sportz Bar and Gator'z Pizza and Wingz.
Main Street Village is a great place to shop, eat, and explore primarily locally owned businesses. This tree-shaded outdoor shopping center has a unique mix of boutique shops, consignment shops, spa services, restaurants and cafes, and a grocery store. It is also a fun place to just take a little stroll.
The first thing you do when you marry a morning person who is also a coffee lover is to try to find a reason to BE a morning person, and also find a coffee to love.
Gator'z Pizza & Wingz: Located in the building at the entrance to Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort (40 Folly Field Rd.), Gator'z has dine-in, take-out, and free in-resort (summer) delivery services! Our family LOVES their pizza. The pizzas are square, thick crust, generous with the toppings, and, most importantly, REALLY YUMMY! Check out the Gator'z Menu here!
