Our Midwest family of four selected Myrtle Beach after spending many enjoyable summer vacations on the oceanfront. We love to travel and have been all over the World (from Japan to 17 European countries, and everywhere in between.) Regardless of where we've visited, we always come back to Myrtle Beach as our home away from home because beach vacations are our favorite past time! Our parents created lifelong memories by bringing us to the seaside each year where we learned to appreciate nature, the beauty of the ocean and reunions with friends and Hidden Condo purchased in 2013 and rented since on a variety of online platforms with great reviews. We are new to the Houfy family and trying to bring our delightful condo to you without all the booking fees provided by the other online companies.

Joseph’s home was great! My husband and I had an amazing time super close to the beach. All of the attractions and shopping centers were in a less than 30 minute proximity. There were a plethora of amenities; perfect for cooking! It was very clean. It’s one of our favorite Airbnbs we’ve stayed at thus far!

Joseph's place was great. If I could give the location 6 stars I would. The view from the balcony is perfect for watching the sun rise or catching some afternoon rays out of the wind. We would definitely stay here again!

Well appointed, very clean, with an amazing beach view. Listening to the waves crash every night as we went to bed was a huge highlight. The condo had everything we needed and the WiFi was strong enough for both kids to log onto virtual school for several hours at the same time, while my husband & I streamed a movie. Plenty of space for a relaxing getaway - even the 13 & 10 year olds loved it. This is our 2nd time staying in the Ocean Forest Villa community due to its great location and how quiet the area is. Looking forward to our next trip!

Relaxing stay
We had a absolutely wonderful time at this property. The owner was very responsive. The house had everything we needed for our stay , the kitchen was well equipped, and house even had some beach accessories like Chairs, umbrella, etc. it was relaxing to sit on the patio looking at the beach and listening to the waves.

This is a very nice place. Just as described. Gorgeous view.
This condo is very nice and as described. Clean and well kept. Tasteful and modern furnishing. Not cluttered with unnecessary things but had everything we needed. Beds slept very well. Great access to the beach. Very quite and well kept property. Owners responded very quickly when I had to contact them for the key code when my phone would not load the attachment with that info. Overall a very nice few days and would rent again.

This was a last minute trip and I was a bit worried about what we would be getting for waiting till the day before we needed to leave but I have to say it was great!! This condo is super cute and it takes literally less than 5 minutes to walk to the beach which is right in front of the unit. The beach area across from the condo is private and so it wasn't super crowded which of course is a huge bonus at a time like this. We were surprised to find some beach toys as well as umbrellas and even chairs that we could use at the beach which was a nice touch that we didn't know we needed. The unit was clean aside from a bit of sand on the floors when we arrived which is inevitable at a beach condo! We loved how all of the linens smelled nice and clean and the balcony overlooking the beach was super nice as well. The location of the condo is also perfect and was under 10 minutes to all popular food locations and grocery stores. Joe and his wife came to say hello and checked on how our stay was going while we were down at the beach and also were super flexible with check in/out times. Don't think twice and book this spot! You won't regret it. 10/10 was a great experience and we definitely will be coming back!

Cozy, close to beach
Everything is good, except master bathroom in master bedroom is too narrow that wasn't comport much. And probably this room is not too good for senior . AH

Response:Thanks for the review. A few years ago, we actually bumped out the master bathroom wall by 18” to make that bathroom larger and also accommodate a nicely tiled wall-in shower so this is one of the few units in the complex having a larger master bathroom.

Good overall - but there some things you should know
Overall, our stay was great. Property was clean. Location was perfect. The view was incredible. The property manager was very responsive. But there are some things I wish I had known. I wish we would have been notified that the pool was closed. This was disappointing. We were expecting reduce capacity and social distancing but not for it to be closed. Also, the email said they would provide 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. There was only a quarter roll so we had to go out and buy toilet paper. There was also no paper towels like the email said there would be. The thing I found the most frustrating was we were only given one small trash bag. I contacted the property manager and he said they only provide one trash bag and expect guest to use their grocery bags. We only stayed three nights so we didn’t go to the grocery store and didn’t have any grocery bags. I wish we would have known this before an hour before we had to leave. Like I said, overall our stay was great and we will definitely stay here again. We will just be sure to come prepared next time!

Response:Hi Brandon - thanks for being honest and we are disappointed that you didn't find our condo "as advertised." This was clearly an oversight on our cleaning company's part for which we apologize, and we'd like to credit you for one night toward your next stay. Our cleaning company has clear instructions on what should be provided as starter items which include 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels and a few trash bags. We will be addressing this with our cleaning company as it's a disappointment to us as well. As far as the pool goes, our HOA closed it at the beginning of the summer due to the high cost of maintaining / sanitizing the pool in light of COVID-19 which we advised each guest prior. Because you booked a couple of weeks prior to your arrival, this slipped through the cracks for which we accept full responsibility. Many of the complexes throughout Myrtle Beach have taken the same approach by closing their pools or limiting time spent at the pool in order to maintain social distancing. I know this doesn't change your expectation but we want you to know the rationale for keeping the pools and spas closed for the time being. Thanks again for your feedback and we hope to have you visit again in the future.
