Joni’s place is awesome. My kids went down to the waterfall multiple times daily. Private and peaceful. Views for days! Joni had plenty of recommendations and even left s’mores for my kids. Tons to do in the area, ATV’s, petting ranches, hiking, and even a gold mine. We will absolutely repeat this stay as we are in the area often. Thank you Joni!

Only an hour drive from Atlanta, Joni’s beautiful cabin in the mountains was perfect for a weekend getaway. My husband and I enjoyed hiking to the waterfall, grilling and relaxing in the hot tub. Joni thought of everything to make our stay comfortable … and even welcomed us with champagne and chocolates for Valentine’s Day. Truly a wonderful experience - we’ll be back!

Perfect mountain house getaway
Beautiful property! Hosts even had a Christmas tree up for our stay right after the holiday. Amazing sunset and mountain views (from the hot tub!). Our Florida girls even got to experience their first snow!

Delightful vacation!
I can highly recommend this property. Exceeded all our expectations. The best thing of all: the absolute peace and quiet! Privacy and serenity galore! Very comfy beds and silky soft sheets. Lovely Christmas tree and holiday decor. Incredible sunsets from the hot tub. We will be back!

We can’t say enough about this cabin and Joni is an absolutely stellar host. The location is perfect. Usually, you have to choose between a mountain view and a water feature. But, not here - you get both! The private 110 feet waterfall is gorgeous and the hike to get there is so beautiful. We had such a ball lounging on the deck and going on hikes, all without ever leaving the property. The amenities are out of this world. Luxury hot tub on deck, huge soaking tub in owners suite, plush bathrobes, wine fridge, completely stocked kitchen with helpful labels, thoughtful welcome gift, chocolate on pillows, too many amenities to list. Joni is a thoughtful, considerate, organized and communicative host. She is so welcoming and gave us many excellent local recommendations. Book this cabin, you will not regret it! We’ll definitely be back.

Joni’s place far exceeded our family’s expectations! Gorgeous place with everything we needed and more. We celebrated my mothers 60th birthday here and Joni went above and beyond to make it really special. The home was very clean and well stocked with the essentials. The fire pit, hammocks, hot tub, foosball table, and waterfall hike kept our whole family of 10 (ages 0-60) entertained all weekend! Thank you Joni, for providing such a beautiful space for our family to create some lasting core-memories. We hope to be back for another celebration in the future :)

The place is beautiful and as described. There were a lot of rules which overwhelmed me and caused me a lot of anxiety . The Falls was something I was really looking forward to seeing. It was too difficult for my husband and I to make it to it; however, the younger folks did and said it was beautiful, but they were completely exhausted when they returned. Joni knew we were celebrating two birthdays while staying at her place and she so kindly and thoughtfully left a sweet note along with cupcakes. Very thoughtful.

Response:Unfortunately for some guests, they are not in the physical condition to hike 15 minutes down & back to the waterfall. It is a beautiful dramatic venture, but not for the faint at heart. It is not considered a difficult hike; mostly moderate as it is a wide & clear hike almost the entire way. 95% of our guests make it down & back just fine & all proud of their accomplishment many hiking it daily during their stay and even continue on further down the stream. As for our household rules, most are expected anywhere you go (just reminders to some) and the remainder are fire & wildlife safety rules for our guest’s safety & comfort. Our rules have evolved over the last 5 years to make guests aware of what they need to know for their safety, the protection of the home, and respect for wildlife, forest & fire safety. When it comes to fire safety, yes you could say our rules are strict.
