A Journey to the Sunriver Cascade House

The COVID pandemic was a challenging time for everyone, and our family was no exception. During that period, we introduced a new family member to the world, and we longed for our extended family to meet our little one in person. However, we were hesitant to fly, so we sought a destination that was convenient for everyone to drive to. Us living in the San Francisco Bay area and my family being up in the greater Seattle Area meant that it would have to be somewhere in oregon. That's when our online search led us to Bend, Oregon, and we remembered a friend a few years back mentioning Sunriver.

We booked a vacation rental in Sunriver for August 2021 and had a fantastic time. We biked to the village, swam at the SHARC, played, laughed, and hot tubbed. It was a vacation that left us with cherished memories. Later that year, we visited Sunriver again in the winter and realized that it was an all-season destination.

It was then that we decided to look for a place to call our own, a place where our family and friends could gather to create beautiful memories. In May of 2022, we found the perfect place - Sunriver Cascade House. The house is a single-level, beautifully designed, 3,000 sq. foot home, perfect for kids, parents, grandparents, and all generations. It sits on a ⅓ acre lot with a private backyard featuring a cascading waterfall and an indoor hot tub that opens to the outdoor space.

We chose to call it Sunriver Cascade House because it is located in Sunriver, which backs up to the Cascade mountains, and also because of the relaxing cascading waterfall in the backyard. Our goal is to create an experience that will stay with our guests long after their vacation is over. We want to help them create memories that will last a lifetime, whether it's by sitting around the cozy fireplace with loved ones, enjoying dinners indoors or outdoors, or exploring the many outdoor activities that Sunriver has to offer.

As owners of Sunriver Cascade House, my wife and I fell in love with the magic of this place, and we wanted to share it with others. We believe that Sunriver Cascade House is not just a house, but an experience that you and your friends and family will never forget.
