We are from London, UK. My husband is an Industrial Designer and I am a graphic Designer. We love cooking (and eating), wine and gin, design, art and film. We have two children and a dog. Our son has special needs. After countless holiday cancellations due to our son's severe epilepsy, we decided to find a place in Britain where we can holiday and can get to by car - in our own time. We wanted a place where we can escape to that feels no less exciting, invigorating and restorative than a typical holiday abroad. After a year of searching and careful consideration, we decided on Wales when we found Wern Fawr House.

Wern Fawr House is not purely a commercial venture, it is a retreat for our family and has been furnished with many of our personal possessions. The house is very old and we endeavour to keep our interventions as sensitive to the place as possible. Almost all of the earnings from the rental goes to the maintenance of the house and when possible, restoration projects for the house.
