Even before we were married, we dreamed of the day when we would own our own vacation home. We wanted a place where our children could grow up and always treasure the memories of family vacations and traditions. In 2022, we made that dream reality when we finally purchased a home in the Outer Banks. We have already made many family memories there and look forward to creating more every year. When we are not daydreaming of relaxing in our beach chairs, we stay busy with our three children, home and house projects, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and enjoying a campfire with good friends. We look forward to welcoming many families at Driftwood as you create your own family traditions and memories.

The house was great! Meg and Jeff were wonderful and helpful as we had a very last minute request to stay! It was easy to get in and they gave great recommendations as we were coming to celebrate a birthday! House had ample space and clean-so clean that the floors were very slippery! My kids and myself ended on the floor several times lol!! So I would say don’t forget your house shoes and still be careful! Being able To see the ocean from a distance and hear it was wonderful. Really easy to run over and get those early morning pics of the sun rising. Peaceful and not a lot of people-it was mid March lol! And the urgent care is close, incase your little scares you into thinking they have an ear infection LOL! Millers was great in bags head for dinner! Kids and husband had a blast! Loved it!

“Highly Recommend!”

This comfortable home away for home is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your time in Kitty Hawk, NC! The location is perfect, with many restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The house is clean and well-kept by the owners and their cleaning service. It's also fully equipped with all you need, especially the spacious kitchen. And the Atlantic view and access is perfect. The hot tub was cleaned by a company during our stay there. But mostly, the owners communicated and treated us like they truly appreciated us for selecting their OBX home as our vaca home away from home! Thank you Meg and Jeff!

The house was beautiful and just as described. It was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed a girls trip with 3 moms and 3 teenage daughters. The hot tub was great! the beach was so close you could hear it! perfect location, near many great restaurants and shops. Jeff and Meg provided great recommendations! would love to stay again.

We really enjoyed Jeff and Meg's beautiful beach cottage. The house and all amenities were in immaculate condition and we loved cooking in the spacious modern kitchen. Carpet and furnishings were all top notch too. So close to the beach! We hope to return!

We enjoyed our stay. Close convenient walk to the beach, near all the restaurants and other fun activities, and the home itself was beautiful and very comfortable. Jeff and Meg responded right away when we reached out and everything went very smoothly.

The location is very walkable to beach, and drivable to local stores and restaurants. Very clean and quiet. It is very well furnished and stocked with everything we need as a vacation house for a week or so. The only extra we would wish for is a desk as workspace in each room. BTW, the wi-fi works well for our multiple devices. We actually spent some time to take care of workplace needs.

Relaxing Stay

Had an extremely relaxing stay at this property at a great location. More than enough room, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of entertainment options. Convenient outside shower to wash off sand from beach, which is an incredibly short walk away.

Great Location!

Stayed at Jeff and Meg’s beach house with family (5 adults and 3 kids). Plenty of space for everyone, clean, and lots of amenities. Location was fantastic - literally a half-block off the beach - and the beach itself was great. Seemed to be one of the widest parts of the beach (it got more narrow farther to the north and south). Would definitely recommend!
