We had a great time here! It was close to the national park and we could explore other parts of Akron as well. You could tell the hosts put a lot of thought into making the guests comfortable. It is an old house so expect creaking and stiff doors, but it wasn't a big deal even with our 18 month old. Thanks!

Affordable stay. The pictures and desciptions were fairly accurate. No problems with entering, and clear instructions when leaving. The ammenities covered pretty much everything one would need.

LaVone is a very thoughtful host! Her house was very clean and well appointed for our short stay and close to our family event in North Hill. We took her recommendation to have breakfast at Akron Family Restaurant close by and it was delicious!

My partner and I had a quick visit to Akron and chose to book our stay with LaVone because the home was close to our destination and the listing met our needs for a great price. And, just before our arrival, LaVone sent us a very helpful link that had all the info for our stay. The home had all of your typical amenities, and everything was very easy to locate. The beds were very comfortable and we slept great after our 12 hour drive. We got lucky with the weather, so the home was very comfortable with just the fans going. It did appear that the filters in the window units hadn't been cleaned in a while, but they slid right out for me to dust off. As others have mentioned, exiting the driveway is challenging, so be cautious. And, I didn't see it mentioned, but the side door has very narrow stairs just inside. We couldn't find a entryway light, so I was a bit clumsy in the dark on narrow stairs. Just a bit of caution should you use the side door. We had a nice stay and would return.

The house is charming and obviously cared for. Everything clean and neat. Our hostess was responsive and clear in communicating. Our corgi was welcomed although I had not realized the substantial (for me) fee for that welcome, my over-look. And the stairs to sleeping space were not navigable to her short legs. Not sure if upstairs was obvious in materials. Probably would not have booked if I had realized that.

El interior estaba como en las fotos pero mas viejo y mucho ruido al andar por la casa, las ventanas no cierran bien y se hoy mucho la carretera que pasa por delante de la casa, lo peor fue la zona del jardin ya que estaba totalmente inutilizada con una caravana y lleno de hojas. Además el barrio tiene las casas muy mal conservadas y los jardines de los vecinos parecen desguaces de coches lo cual no es culpa del anfitrión pero todo hay que decirlo, en ese sentido las fotos del anuncio no cuadraban en nada con la realidad.
