At Fossane farm we have sheep, chickens, a dog and a cat. Janneke and Martijn welcome you warmly.
Within a few minutes walk you will find Giskelivatnet where you can swim or take a canoe trip. Discover the path along the waterfall, experience the waterfall up close, pet the sheep, or take a walk to our chair Subbeli. This is a small selection of everything you can do here.

The space
Bjødlandsfolgå is one of the three 100 year old farm houses we rent out at Fossane gard. A cozy house with amazing view and sleeps 4. The house is great for couples and familiar.
The nostalgic touch gives a homey atmosphere indoors, here you can fire in the wood-burning stove and feel at home and welcome to us.
We welcome guests all year round. The house is fully equipped and has what you need of amenities and equipment for short or longer stays.
We rent out electric bikes and in winter we offer snowshoes and snow spikes so you can walk in the beautiful winter landscape.

We are located remotely so you will have peace and quiet and a wonderful scenery come to explore.

Ryfylke and Hjelmeland offer many great hiking opportunities in the summer and winter months.
Hjelmeland has in recent years also marked itself in the production and processing of local produce. You will therefore find several farm outlets in the immediate area.
