Like many travelers out there, I was familiar with Airbnb. After signing up to host there, I discovered Houfy, which saves guests on the outrageous services fees. I am hoping for a successful transition, as all this is fairly new to me!
I'm a young at heart 70+ with lots of life experience, having been a hair stylist, stay at home mom, face painter, wedding photographer and more. Happily married for 46 years - maybe because he supports my right brained whims and helps keep me grounded. :-) I've been retired, but not ready for the pasture - so here we are starting a new adventure - hosting a short term rental in our beautiful neck of the woods. For now, what I lack in experience, I'll make up for with much enthusiasm! -- Update -- Since October I've acquired many 5 star reviews on the other site and am very much enjoying the experience of hosting.
