Our favorite places

One question that we get asked a lot is, "Where is a good place to eat?" Well, that depends on what you are in the mood for. Some of our favorite places are located very close, some within walking distance, of the house at MP 4.5.

Breakfast- Hands down, I have to say that Henry's has the best breakfast. Giant pancakes, tasty sausage, and my favorite-the Nor'easter. Just like a nor'easter that comes along the coast and mixes everything up, the Nor'easter at Henry's starts with fresh buttermilk biscuits, topped with home fries, cheddar cheese, a choice of crumbled bacon or sausage, 2 eggs fried or scrambled, smothered in sausage gravy. Of course, they do offer other things, but why bother with that?

Lunch- I Got Your Crabs is a relatively new establishment. Nothing fancy, and only 2-3 tables with bar seating also available. Your waitress will lay down brown butcher paper and you will get a roll of paper towels. Believe me, you will need them! Any type of seafood your heart is set on, chances are IGYC will have it!

Dinner- Vinny's Pizza Joint hands down for pizza or subs. Josephine's Sicilian Kitchen for Italian. Sugar Creek for a nice sit down dinner. Food Dudes Kitchen will knock your socks off. What ever you decide on, going earlier is always better, especially in the summer.
