I'm a museum education director and I enjoy travel because of the opportunity to explore and learn in new communities. Local museums are usually my first stop on any trip (coffee shops are usually my second). I travel light but smart and I'd like to think there isn't a public transportation system that I can't master or a problem that can't be solved with something in my bag (I once fixed my broken shoe with a rubber band and paper clip).

As a guest, I'm pretty independent and low maintenance but I'm always happy to exchange travel stories or hear recommendations for the best spots to eat.
