Why this area? Bullhead AZ / Laughlin NV

We have been vacationing from Wyoming to the Tri-states area for a long time. We spent most of our time in Lake Havasu but when it came time to actually buy a vacation home, we took a really hard look at the area. We wanted an easy care single family home with a pool that was close-in to all the action the area had to offer: the fun of Laughlin, proximity to the river, golf, gambling, private access to a boat ramp, and wilderness adventures. We put in hours looking for just the right property and there was a lot of pressure. Well-priced homes were selling faster than we could get in to see them but we were patient and that only helped us to refine exactly what we wanted in a vacation house for us and our guests. When Casa 'Anya came on the market we were able to view on December 23rd and quickly put in an offer and we closed at the end of January.
