Grandad's Apples N' Such is 19 miles from A Touch of Luxury Cabin. The orchard is open from July/August to early November. You can pick your own apples, or buy ones that have been pre-picked. On weekends during the fall, they have several kid activities, in addition to their five acre corn maze.
If you want to feed the goats at the Barnyard Corral, be sure to have a few quarters for the machine. This apple orchard near Asheville has a huge selection of pumpkins too. Grandad's Apples has a bakery with a large variety of apple goodies. Be sure to try their apple ice cream, apple cider donuts, and apple cider slushies. Shop in the Country Store for local homemade goods and gifts.

Justus Orchard is 17 miles from our cabin, and a short drive to Grandads Apples N Such and Stepps Hillcrest Orchard. In addition to apple picking, Justus Orchard offers U-Pick blueberries. Their blackberries are available July and August, and apples are available mid August through early November.
