Bob & Karen Ekman own Grass Lake Lodge in Big Rapids, MI and Clearwater Shores on Smith Lake, AL. Bob has been in the hospitality industry for over 40 years including Marriott, IHG and others. He has been an entrepreneur as well with start ups like MAH Hospitality, Country Music Fantasy Camp and was the Operating Partner at Fontanel and the Deadwood Mountain Grand after retiring from IHG in 2015. Karen is an interior designer for upscale and our properties.
