Holden Beach is an eight mile, south facing beach in the Brunswick County area of North Carolina.

The Golden Holden description is often used to describe our beautiful island. One is almost guaranteed to see the most amazing sunrises and sunsets that are simply breathtaking. The island is often bathed in a glow of "gold" that simply defies words and is indestructible. One must see it with their own eyes to the beauty .

Many local photographers enjoy taking sunrise and sunsets pictures and often post daily their beautiful photos of the beach, nature, fishing boats and surrounding areas.
