The Florida Birding & Photo Fest may be one of the best photo events in the entire state of Florida, especially if you are a lover of wildlife and looking to learn a few new tricks to catch that perfect shot. This workshop takes place each year in St. Augustine during the month of April and one of the key locations for photo shoots is the rookery at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoological Park. From mid-February thru late May-July the rookery is the site of hundreds of nesting waterfowl like blue herons, ibis, roseate spoonbills, and wood storks.
The beauty of St. Augustine with all the historical attractions, gorgeous architecture, miles of beautiful beaches, and an array of native plants and animals make the area a mecca for amateur professional photographers.
The Sand Bucket at Seaside is a privately owned condo on St. Augustine Beach and the perfect location for your vacation home while visiting St. Augustine. It is locally managed by Jamie Serenati with Coastal Realty to take care of our guests' needs before, during, and future stays.
