A Day in Resurrection Bay with Major Marine Tours, Seward Alaska

Being central on the Kenai Peninsula offers an array of activities to those staying with us! There is amazing fishing to be had of course, but there is also so much more!

One of our favorite activities that we do over and over (and mind you, we are a commercial fishing family), is a day tour in Resurrection Bay with Major Marine Tours out of Seward, approximately 90 gorgeous miles from the house!

I highly encourage you to book the longest cruise you can afford. Parking across the street from their main building is affordable, and all day!

Wear layers, bring sunscreen, lip balm and your camera! If you tend to get sea sick, they can help you with that as well!

On our trips we have seen a huge variety of marine mammals such as otters, sea lions, killer whales, gray whales, and dolphins. Birds such as Eagles and Puffins abound. Even Mountain Goats were spotted on one of our trips! Not to mention the numerous glaciers you will be able to view!

They do offer a Military discount , so be sure to ask if you qualify!
