Modern-Lodge on the inside. French farmhouse on the outside. This dreamy 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is spacious yet cozy. We can't wait to host your family or group of friends.
The Lodge is a part of a special group of 6 french farmhouse style homes in the "Albion" quarter, built by DNA Homes. Each of the six homes has a special plaque with a special name on it. The Lodge's is on our front porch & displays the title "La Ferme", which in French means, "The Farm". The Lodge has an antique farmhouse style feel on the inside and out, with wood gracing it's walls from floor to ceiling. However, as we have made it our own, we are adding subtle modern elements.
I mention we are kid-friendly. One of the things I love about having solid wood walls is they are indestructable! Well, almost. You can let your kids play and not worry about scuffing the beautiful white walls. Because there aren't any (at least not downstairs).
The beautiful European style lane that connects these 6 Albion Homes is affectionately (and unofficially) known as "Twinkle Lane", thus the name The Lodge on Twinkle Lane. It is as whimsical and dreamy as it's name desribes, especially at night with the lights twinkling above you. It's a popular spot (rightfully so) for family portraits.
So, the next time you book your family vacation at Carlton Landing, be sure to schedule a local photographer as well! In my Guidebook, I provide the name of a very talented and wonderful to work with photographer, Moonflower Photography. She is experienced and knows all the best locations to photograph your family around Carlton Landing!
So, the next time you need a vacation rental for a family friendly getaway and want to experience Carlton Landing, please consider us. We look forward to meeting you & for you to experience the wonder, peace & joy of Carlton Landing & The Lodge.
