Duck Days

We just spent 5 nights at Saltwater Gospel and it was great! The listing is very accurate with one exception…the condo is much more spacious than the pictures depict. Great view of the sound and sunsets, close to so many fun shops & restaurants. We enjoyed our stay!

One of the BEST!

Although this home is a bit of a walk to the beach (it's a hike), it was clean, roomy for a large family and offered many amenities! The home is tastefully and beautifully decorated and we appreciated that there wasn't unnecessary "stuff" sitting around on tables, dressers, etc. The 7 bikes (5 adult and 2 kids) were AMAZING! The pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. The owner's offer free use of a beach parking pass and they are extremely efficient with their communication. The arcade game and foosball are cool. The kitchen had plenty of gadgets and everything we needed! The extra fridge is a plus!!!! The beds were comfortable and clean! We would highly recommend this property! If you don't mind the walk to the beach (check out the map), you'll be set for a week of relaxation and fun!

My family and I had a great get away here! The beach is not too far, and the host provides many bikes which made things so easy. The house is beautiful, and there are so many things to do. Overall a great stay would book again.

Lovely house. Close to everything. Amanda-Lee and Jeff have thought of everything for there house, right down to labeling the light switch. The house had everything we needed and Amanda was always quick to respond to questions. Would highly recommend this house!

Nice beach house close to the beach

We had a nice stay at this beach house. The bedrooms are all a very nice size. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all. The pool was very nice. The carpets appear to need a deep cleaning, I can only imagine the wear and tear they go through. I would have appreciated soap in all the bathrooms. Although the hosts did provide towels for the house there were no beach towels for the pool. This was a minor inconvenience sine we did not pack any when the listing said it had towels. Overall we did have a great time, and I’d recommend this home

Nice spot to explore the Outer Banks

We had a great stay at this property. The living room was a great hub for us throughout the day and night. The couches gave you the chance to recline and easily recharge your human and cell phone batteries (thanks to built in USB ports). The master bed and bath were very comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for us to have meals in. The location puts you a short drive or reasonable bike ride from the town with its restaurant and shopping. It’s also easy to get north to Corolla or south to Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills for more adventures. The indoor pool was a great option on the day the tropical storm remnants rolled through. Would definitely recommend (if your family/guest group was comfortable with bunk beds). Thanks for a great stay.

James Family Vacay

Beautiful house inside and out. Well stocked cooking supplies, great kitchen. We enjoyed cooking meals together, site seeing, day and night beach trips, and bike riding. We have a problem with locking sliding door to pool and master bedroom door to deck. The handrails on stairs were really dirty and sticky; which we cleaned upon arrival. Speaking for elderly and handicapped, this is not for you. There are lots of stairs and bathroom do not have grab bars. Overall I would recommend to others.

Relaxing oasis

Saltwater Gospel was perfect for our family of 5. There was plenty of room for all of us. We highly recommend the Toy package. We tried pickle ball for the first time. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed plus extra stuff that we didn’t have at other places like spices and oil. The owners were responsive throughout the entire process. We are ready to book our next stay. The view of sunsets from this home was perfect. We loved the town of Duck and found the vacation to be truly relaxing.

Most well appointed rental ever

We had an wonderful week at Saltwater Gospel. This condo is in such a great location. Walking/biking distance to town, beach and the community courts and pool are a wonderful feature. We paddle boarded and kayaked in the sound and went to the pier for sunset each evening. Leading up to our arrival, Amanda Lee and Jeff were so incredibly responsive. Definitely get the toy package. So much easier than bringing it all. Plenty of pillows and the beds were comfy. Great supply of kitchen tools and pots and pans. Would absolutely love to stay here again.

A perfect home away from home! This house was exactly as described. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive to my questions leading up to our stay. There are several bikes and plenty of beach gear like chairs and boogie boards, plus a wagon to transport items to the beach. There was even a booster seat for the toddler we had in tow. With all the extras, we didn’t need to bring much which made for easy/light packing! We are two families with several grown kids between us and there was ample space, even though we were at maximum capacity. I would highly recommend this rental.

Such a Special Place

My daughter and I had such an amazing time staying at Saltwater Gospel. This was our second visit to Duck & it always surpasses our expectations. The condo was beautiful, calming, clean, and perfectly situated. The owners were excellent communicators and answered all of our questions quickly & clearly which I genuinely appreciated. We are hoping to book another week next year again.
