Second stay

So glad we could go back to this resort for a second stay. Loved the villa. It is so spacious and has everything we needed. You can cookn in after a a short shopping trip in town or go to the on site bistro which is so delicious. We tried somerhing different each night and loved everything we had. It is such a beautiful setting. The swimming pools are so refreshing after a long walk on the beach looking at tide pools and enjoying the sunset while you eat. The staff were all wonderful and friendly. The hosts are so easy to work with and do their best to make everything just perfect for your stay. I can't wait till we get to go back!

Our family loved our stay! We immediately felt right at home & Alvin and the team at the resort gave plenty of instructions ahead of time, including ideas of activities near the location. The home is in a gorgeous, peaceful setting, and the cleanliness and layout of the property cannot be beat. Alvin and his family have created personal touches that added to our sense of comfort and enjoyment. This includes a coziness to their choice of furnishings - inside and out - artwork and color within the home, and amenities such as towels for the beach and pool, boogie boards, and beach chairs. My husband and I traveled with our four adult children and there is plenty of space to allow for personal time, as well as the table size and furniture placement making it easy to congregate all together. The friendliness of the staff was also appreciated. Thank you for helping us create beautiful, lasting memories in such a heavenly location!

Fantastic villa walking out to a beautiful beach. Very clean and stocked with everything you’ll need for a great stay. Our entire family of 6 loved the villa, the location, and amenities of the resort!! Would definitely book again.

This place was amazing! The 3 bedroom condo was perfect for our family. Each kid had a bedroom and no fighting involved. It was clean and the view was to die for! We loved just being steps from the beach. The black sand beach was so private and had excellent surfing right off the rocks in the water. We saw so many fish! We enjoyed having a full kitchen but also loved that we could walk right next door to the delicious restaurant on-site. Everyone was so friendly at the resort. We felt very safe and welcome. Upon arrival we were given a list of recommendations on where to eat or grocery shop and that came in really handy. We will most definitely be back to visit someday!

Costa Rica Playa Ocotal, Bahia Pez Vela

Our group of 5 Friends stayed for 4 nights at Villa 10. It was just as described- beautiful view andbeautiful home- equipped with everything you need. We went at the beginning of the off season(can be rainy) and were lucky to have great weather.Everyone was super friendly at the restaurant/pool and Jaky and Cesar at the office were very resourceful and helped us with our requests for onsite massages(wonderful) and travel accommodations to and from Father Rooster- restaurant(very good food ).The owner -Al was quick to reach out to us to see if we had any special needs or wants during our stay and provided us with all the information of what the area has to offer -along with their favorites. Thank you- we will be back!

Villa 10 was incredible! It is probably our favorite home we've ever stayed in around the world! The villa is spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet and you'll never have a better beachfront location. The view is amazing! The ocean water and beach are clean and calm! The pool is perfect! We stayed at the villa the whole time only going out for groceries and souvenirs. With little kids we just bounced from the pool to the beach to the ocean to the trees with howler monkeys all day and had a blast! I would absolutely recommend staying at Villa 10 for the best Costa Rican beach vacation you could ever imagine!

First trip to Costa Rica it was amazing and I plan to go back next year and will stay at Alvin's villa. His villa is beautiful steps away from a private beach with amazing sunsets and a restaurant you can walk to that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant overlooks the pool with an ocean view. A main office is open all day long to answer questions and to help if there are any issues and there is 24 hour security in this gated community. Prior to the trip Alvin sent me a lot of information to make sure my trip was great and was patient to answer all my questions since I had not been to Costa Rica before. I have used ABNB a lot and have never had an owner as responsive as Alvin. He even recommended a driver and tour guide (Daniel) who we used and he was great. When we go back next year I will also utilize Daniel's services. This villa is heaven on earth. Pura Vidal To understand this need to go to Alvin's villa. lol

This is the 2nd time we stayed at Alvin’s places. Before we stayed at Villa 10 and this time, Villa 11. Both were equally wonderful experiences. Alvin is a great host, available immediately to answer any questions or recommend outings. We spent several days just lounging around the house, going to the nearby pool, ordering from the restaurant and swimming in the ocean. There is snorkeling right around the point at the edge of the bay. We visited waterfalls, did a zip line & a snorkel boat trip. We stayed a week but wished we had stayed longer. The house is just perfect for our family of 5. Love drinking tea on the deck overlooking the ocean, watching the birds, listening to the ocean. It’s just a magical place, so comfortable! I definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic trip! The teenagers had plenty to do - swimming, snorkeling, hiking to waterfalls, etc. Our host's recommendations for restaurants, drivers, and excursions were very helpful. We would definitely come back again.
