CLEANING FEE

You have no doubt chosen to rent a private home because it makes your vacation private. Please keep in mind that whole house private rentals are very different from a hotel, motel, or hostel. Private homes also save money.

Our prices are based on a comparison to BEDROOM rates at the local hostel and nearby hotels. Put it in perspective. Prices range from $55/bunk bed (shared room) at the hostel to $370 for a single king bed room at nearby hotel/inn and upwards. We are a little bit more than a hostel (where you share a bunk room with 5 other people) and a lot less than a local hotel/inn. Therefore, the kitchen, living areas, recreation amenities are all basically free amenities if you really think about it. The bulk of the cleaning is about laundry, bed-making, and cleaning the bedrooms & bathrooms. Please be respectful and leave the place in tidy condition.

Cleaning Fees ~ What does it cover?

CLEANING COMPANY CHARGES US $50/HOUR FOR 2 PEOPLE TO COME AND CLEAN FOR 2-4-5 HOURS. THAT IS $100/HOUR or $200-$400-$500 for the whole place and you aren't charged that much. Cleaning fees vary depending on the configuration of the rental. Minimum cleaning time is 2 hours and max should be 5 hours.

RINSE ALL RECYCLING ~ REQUIRED BY RECYCLING CENTER

DO YOUR OWN DISHES AND PUT THEM AWAY

WIPE UP AFTER YOURSELF- TABLE, STOVE & COUNTERS

TAKE OUT THE TRASH & RECYCLING

PLACE TOWELS IN THE HAMPERS PROVIDED

TAKE ALL OPENED FOOD WITH YOU

WE DONATE UNOPENED FOOD TO LOCAL FOOD SHELTER

WE PREFER YOU EMPTY FRIDGE WHEN YOU LEAVE
