Though Celadon 2308 is a penthouse unit, it had a modest, beachy feel to it that didn't make this ordinary person feel totally outclassed. Ron was an outstanding, down-to-earth host that quickly responded to any/all questions that arose.
The place was very quiet and it seemed like I had the entire floor to myself for the last two weeks of my stay. There were also several days where I was the only person on the beach in front of the condo and could look a mile to the west without seeing another soul. The sunset views from the 23rd floor this time of year were phenomenal, as well as from the beach.
As a science geek, I was able to observe dolphins swimming and porpoising, schools of rays moving through shallow water near the beach, pelicans dive-bombing large schools of fish, and even a lone manatee slowly passing by from the comfort of the balcony.
It also provided an outstanding vantage point to watch a big storm move through one morning, to take timelapse photography of cloud formations and sunsets, to observe meandering drainage "rivers" through the sand that changed course several times during the stay, and to watch the changing patterns of beach sand caused by wave action.
No stay on the ocean would be complete without leaving the windows open all day and all night to hear the comforting sound of the ocean waves as one fades off to sleep.
Thank you, Ron, for the great stay!
