Located on a Dirt ( sometimes snow ) 2 track, in the Pere Marquette State Forest, on Spider Lake, off the Beaten Path. No close neighbors ! Ready for some serious R & R ?! WINTER, Fall & Spring Nightly Rentals available. Summer Weekly Rentals are Sunday to Sunday & include a Pontoon Boat to get you out on the water. This adorable cottage is located on a Quiet Bay of All Sports Spider Lake in Grand Traverse County. When you are here, you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere.. but there is easy access to town.. Traverse City that is ! Bring everything you need, you might not feel like leaving. Peegeo's Restaurant is close with a large & varied menu.
Traverse City is an exciting place and there is lots to do if you choose. Winter rentals must have a 4 x 4 due to "Pop Up" Lake Effect Snow !

I've lived here on Spider Lake for 30 years. We raised two sons here, now I"m a gramma to twin boys. My husband Rolf and I owned Harolds Resort and Livery for 27 years. I"m a widow now and ready to slow down ?? .. not quite yet !! . You will find be bouncing around the lake in my Jeep, or floating in the middle of it on a boat. Once you confirm your reservation with a payment or deposit. You will receive a confirmation with detailed information and final payment details along with a Short Term Rental Contract and Boat Rental Contract if a Boat is to be included with your stay. Wilkins Landing on Spider Lake is on Google Maps - take a look but they think the cottage is on the left side of the road, when in fact it is on the right side of the road ( which is the lake side) ! Check In: 3PM - Flexible
When you make a reservation you will receive by email, arrival instructions. Check in and out times vary by season. The times will be noted on a confirmation email that you will receive when you make and confirm the reservation. Summer in/out times are on Sunday - ready for check in anytime after 3 pm and out the next Sunday by 11 am- and times are not flexible during this time.

Cancellation Policy
All monies paid are subject to be non - refundable.
If you cancel and I am able to re-rent all dates, you will receive all money refunded EXCEPT a 10% rebooking fee. So the more notice you give me, the better chance I will have to rebook the dates. I want to re-book the dates if you have to cancel, so please, even if you think you might have to cancel, let me know, so I can at least start a waiting list or open up the calendar You can always apply your deposit or money paid to another set of dates ONCE and then it becomes NON refundable.
