“Great Home,Great Host, Great Lacation”

The home in Royal Oak was excellent in all ways. The location in a great neighborhood was easy access to restaurants, the Detroit Zoo and other local places to visit.
The hosts Kristy and Steve are the best and cared about any needs that were needed and maintain a well cared home for the stay. Will be staying there again when we are back in Michigan next year.

It checked all the boxes for me and was a great place! It was super clean and very sunny. I feel at home when a space has enough windows to let plenty of light in. House was well organized, and nice flow between living room and kitchen.

We were blown away by Kristy’s hospitality! Not a detail was missed. It was so easy for us to bring our suitcases in and feel right at home. Everything was easy and stress free from check-in through check-out and everything in between. Kristy and Steve are friendly and accessible if needed. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect home away from home

Kristy’s house feels just like home! The house is well appointed, in a safe and quiet neighborhood, and is close to all the necessities. The kitchen has nearly as many cooking utensils as my own, there are multiple washers and dryers, and Kristy added lots of thoughtful touches like fans, humidifiers, and plenty of extra linens. Our dog absolutely loved the fully fenced in yard and met a lot of friendly neighborhood dogs on walks. While the home is older, it is incredibly well-maintained and updated with no maintenance issues. The hosts are very responsive and helpful as well— when I had a minor issue with the garbage disposal Kristy’s husband was over that afternoon with a quick fix! I feel really comfortable in their home, and I plan to stay here again in the future :)

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kristy, Steve and their house! Their communication and check in were SUPER easy and helpful. They made us feel right at home for the holidays. They checked in on us regularly and were first class all the way! The house was AMAZING! The pictures really do not do it justice! Stocked with everything you could want or need. Even had snacks and basics stocked in the kitchen. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The neighbors were super friendly and welcoming. Oh and... location, location, location! Everything the area has to offer is close and fun! We hope to make this our winter stay every December and January! Super hosts indeed!!!

Quiet and clean!

We had a fantastic two week stay at Kristy and Steve’s! we used to live in Royal Oak, so knew the area very well, and this neighborhood is so wonderful. It is quiet, safe, very close (but not too close) to main roads, and the neighbors are all very friendly. Kristi and Steve live next door so anytime you need anything they will be right there! But it is likely you won’t need much because they have thought of everything. There are plenty of extra blankets and towels, the kitchen is well stocked for moderate to long term stays, and there are multiple washers and dryers. My dog loved their large fenced in backyard and extensive network of sidewalks all throughout the neighborhood for long walks. The AC and heat work very efficiently (I was there during a temperamental time of year and ended up having to use both), they provide fans, and every window has blinds. The mattresses are firm, are clearly very new and of good quality, and they provide plenty of extra pillows. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet and comfortable neighborhood to stay within 20 minutes of downtown Detroit (especially if you have a dog or children). You’re also within 10 minutes of downtown Birmingham, Royal Oak, Clawson, and Berkley. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful Home in Royal Oak

Very clean and beautiful home in a very nice and quiet neighborhood in Royal Oak. A few blocks from Woodward Ave. and a 5 minute drive to downtown Royal Oak. Kristy & Steve were extremely responsive and the best we have experienced. Highly recommend this property. We will be back.
